Over the past few months the right sparco seat rail started making a lot of noise and developed some play. I emailed sim-lab yesterday to see if it's covered under warranty. While I wait for a response I figured why not make some adjustments and clean my rig. To my surprise, the seat bracket failed 🙃. Hopefully both are warrantied.
My local Walmart has a 5090 for some reason. Barcode shows out of stock and it's not available in store or online for delivery. Fingers crossed an unknowing employee puts a yellow sticker on it at some point lol
Edit: This post was never about the price, just the fact there is a 5090 sitting on the shelf at Walmart. Ignore the price tag. Price check was $4699.99.

It's been 90 days since we purchased the u-locks and the battery status in the app has been stuck at 4%. For science I took apart my lock and replaced the battery with a brand new identical battery and guess what!? Still shows 4% lol. Between my brothers lock and mine with the brand new battery, both have been charged once in the 90 days. So the battery status shown in the app is a non-issue. If you've been on the fence about picking one up, do it. It's nice not needing to pull out a key or putting in a code.
I need to add some lighting. I have some ideas to run led strips in a few tasteful areas but for ambiance, how is the hue play bar or equivalent? I already have a hue hub so it would be the easiest but I need some inspiration or ideas

Finally received the adapter kit and got it fully put back together. For now a Mercedes GT2 until my Etsy bmw badges arrive but what a great wheel. My first round clubsport fanatec wheel and it's amazing! Heavy AF lol but with the DD+ it doesn't feel muted at all.
Essentially got the wheel for $25 after selling the base it was bundled with. I assume the seller knew the wheel was broken but I didn't realize it at after a quick checkup. Anyway, pulled the wheel apart and found the frame was cracked. Got a local alloy wheel repair place to weld it up. Now I'm just waiting for the QR2 adapter to arrive. If you have a V1 that is broken, it is repairable.
Probably a lost cause but I got it for a good deal and want to save it. I could ignore it but long term it'll only get worse. Currently have reinforced jb weld curing but I don't have high hopes since the aluminum is so thin in those areas.
I made and 3D printed this mount to make it easier to carry around the U-Lock. Shame these weren't sold in the USA until now and they're discontinued, I really like it.
After updating the base(DD+) and wheel whenever I turn on the base with the wheel attached, the OLED doesn't light up or function at all. I then have to disconnect the wheel and reconnect with the base on, then it starts working.
