Samsung Game Booster

I currently own the ZF8U. I've been trying to turn on the battery bypass feature in Game Booster, but the toggle is grayed out. On all of my past Z Folds, I was able to activate the feature. I'm using the same charger as in the past and the USB cable that came with the ZF8U, but the toggle remains grayed out. Has anyone had the same issue and gone through multiple charges and cables like I have, and what was your solution?

Edit: I finally got it to work, but it's weird. After reading a couple of replies, I thought I would see if it was some app or something on my ZF8U by firing up my old ZF5. I plugged the ZF5 in and saw that the feature was active, but within 10 seconds after enabling the feature, it also grayed out. So I tried again on my ZF8U, and the feature was active, so I toggled it on. I unplugged and plugged it in at least 20 times, and every time the feature became active. I'm now wondering if it was the charger?

Calendar events

When I add a text with {c1t}, it looks at all of my Google calendars and displays the first event it sees from all of my calendars. How can I specify a specific calendar for it to look at and to ignore all other calendars?

Funny story (or at least I find it funny)

So after I got my GWU2, I thought it would be interesting to see how the new hearing feature works. I turned it on and after a week or so, I looked over the data collected. No significant changes or issues were found.

Last week was the first week of school for the district I teach in, as the high school band director. Needless to say, the data was all over the place, and I got many warnings from my watch. Honestly, where was this tech thirty years ago when I began my career!

Phone battery

I noticed that after adding the phone battery SOC to my watch face, it doesn't update very often and is frequently off by 3-5 percentage points compared to the phone. On the legacy version, the watch app had the ability to update the phone's SOC upon wakeup. I cannot seem to find anything similar. Is there a way to get this kind of functionality?

TIA!

To Case or not to Case

I've absolutely loved my Z Fold7 from the day I got it on release a year ago. The only thing I struggle with is whether to use a case or not. I carry insurance on it and I'm very careful with it. Sometimes I feel like using a case, and sometimes I don't feel like using a case. Does anyone else have the same issue, or is it just my psychosis?

Recovery Mode gone

My new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 was delivered today, YAY! Unfortunately, Samsung has removed Recovery Mode on the new watch, just like they did on their phones.

Nest Doorbell

I just got a Google Nest Doorbell. The reason I got it was so that I could use the Home app on my Galaxy Watch 8 to check the camera on the Nest Doorbell. However, every time I try to open it on the watch, I get the message "Control more features on your phone" and a button to open the Home app on the phone.

If anyone has had and solve this issue I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

TIA!

Tasker

I see Tasker has been added to Watchmaker. On the old Watchmaker, I could configure an element of the watch face to run a specific task through the use of a tap action. I cannot, however, figure out how to do that on the new Watchmaker. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA!

Galaxy Watch 4

So, I charged and fired up my old Galaxy Watch 4 that had been in a drawer for years. I was so sad when I found an old watch face on it that I had made using Watchmaker. All the tap points I had assigned were to run so many Tasker tasks (all lighting tasks). For me, it's so sad to see what Watchmaker has become.

Magnetic ring

Hey, I've tried a bunch of magnetic rings on my black Z Fold7, but none of them seem to stick around for long. I really like my phone without a case, so if anyone out there is like me and found a ring that actually stays on the bare back of a black Z Fold7, please let me know!

Oh, and I know I could use a skin, but I'd rather not.

Thanks a bunch!

Weird lock screen

While driving I have three apps running Waze, Torque and MyRadar. For some reason there's a lock that pops up every four to five minutes. Could someone please tell me what it is? I would like to disable it.

TIA
