Can anyone help with some insight into this piece. Date, origin, materials,potential value, ect… I was told it’s Pre-Colombian, it was given to me by my grandfather who was a gemologist and traveled to world in search of rare stones.
The piece is about 9 inches in length, it has a red glaze in certain areas however I have not wanted to clean it so it may be difficult to see, but it is most prominent on the forehead. The looped earrings are completely free to move. Any insight would be helpful thank you.
