Bravo 112 went to the studio.

Bravo 112 went to the studio.

I got this from a pawn shop last year and cultists were kind with comments and suggestions.

I bought it loaded with a Fender special design speaker.

The guitar player in the band plugged in with his Schecter. The gain channel was engaged and we had heaven. We moved from a latest-era Bandit 112 to the Bravo immediately.

The bass player tech wizard gave it a once-over and said it looked solid though the circuit design meant it would eat tubes.

We practice weekly for a couple of hours.
We went to a studio for a weekend session. The Bravo was on - and dimed - for 5 hours. It sounded great, aggressive, with a 57 on the speaker.

Hurray for low-watt amps, tube or solid state!

My wife made a request.

She asked for a Team Algae shirt this morning.
I cut the stencil and the weather turned nice this afternoon so I could paint shirts.
The lesson learned was that lighter shirts were the better choice.

The perfect proto-Brawndo

I am on vacation in Aruba.
I had to be told that this is being sold in the US.
I thought it was a rebranding for export.

The name does represent the ingredients:
Antifreeze
Meth
Ethanol
Radioactive Iodine
Cancer
Acid
Nachos

Coconut-based batches

Two former colleagues like coconut.
They both deserve end-of-school year gifts.
Coconut muffins
Coconut chocolate chip muffins
Funny that one uses coconut oil and coconut milk along with shredded coconut while the other used coconut extract and shredded coconut.

Chocolate Chip (2 dozen yield)

My go-to recipe from the back of the Special Dark chip bag got tossed in favor of this recipe.
There is a smaller yield and it’s easier to manage.

LP Modern Lite

Gibson did a good job with this barebones LP. I guess it is up there with the Firebrand series when things were dire - but prettier.
This Inverness Green LP came home with me in June of 2024.
I liked the sound and the feel with SG weight with LP playability.
I have it because the price new was unbeatable and I had a guitar to trade in.
There is no way I would pay MSRP for this. The gig bag, strap and tools are nice, but I would expect a hard case for $1500. A Gator hard case at a good price does the job.
I expect to record with it soon.

I am in central Pennsylvania.
I bought this in Florida in 2021. It looks like Florida man played it.
New heads and snare wires got it back to playing shape.
It is time to let it go - for a price.
I’m reasonable and realistic.
I will meet. I will not ship.
