Electric vs gas push lawn mowers

I'm a first time home buyer (0.22 acres). I grew up on a 0.5 acre property and mowed with an old 2003 L110 JD (bulletproof) and some random Toro machines that worked fairly well if you took care of them. We had a Ryobi push lawn mower for the front yard for a bit but it died (won't turn on at all with fresh batteries) and ruined my perception of electric lawn mowers.

What're everyone's opinions on electric push vs gas push lawn mowers? Eventually I will get the L110 but if I can get an electric ryobi or try and fix my old one, is it worth it for the short term?

How do I not pick everything up?

I need some tips on my play style. I was the same way playing FO4. I can't help but literally try and scavenge every little thing (yes all the cups and folders because if there credit to weight ratio) and check every crate or body because I don't want to miss something. It feels like it's taking me forever to play the game because of it. Do you guys have any tips on how you play?

John Deere L110 mower deck rear draft arm bracket breaking

Hey guys, looking for some help on my late dads L110 mower. I'm tuning it up for my mom and then eventually taking it for myself when she moves.

The right hand rear draft arm bracket is breaking off the mower deck and I'm looking for some solutions. The two I can think of are either installing an L-bracket on the side of the break, or trying to weld it with my limited skills.

Any suggestions are welcome.

P.S. the underside of the mower deck was just cleaned for the first time in years, after the last photo was taken.

Taking 2021 Arteon to the drive-in

Anyone have experience with the newer VWs electrical system and keeping it on during a drive-in movie?

I'm planning on facing the screen and staying in the front seats. The DRLs and the auto turn off of the radio are my biggest concerns.

Any thoughts?

So I started up my mom's push mower for the first time this year. And it immediately started spewing white smoke and spitting oil out of the exhaust.

Beforehand I had it on its side to clean out the underside, but I left it for a half hour before starting it. I put Toro premium fuel treatment in the gas that was still in there from last year and replaced the air filter.

Do I just need to leave it resting normally for longer before starting it?

Dad just passed away this winter so I'm learning how to keep up with the equipment. Help is appreciated.
