Another spacex lockup incoming this week

So this week, a few hundred million more shares of spacex will unlock again. On top of that many hedge funds and companies have told the public how many shares they currently hold. Google has a stake worth more than $90 billion.

My opinion, long term this is a buy once they prove themselves with massive AI business growth, but right now the valuation makes zero sense.

I think also Google could start taking profit as I wouldn’t surprise if they want to use the profits for more capex.

Do you think this stock keeps ripping or the reckoning is coming soon, and large shareholders will sell to cash out and retail will be stuck holding the bag?

Meta and Microsoft earnings this week

Hello,
What’s your move this week on big earnings from Meta and Microsoft? I’m running meta and Microsoft calls expiring Sept 18th.

Do you think the setup into earnings is a good one?

Microsoft is down over 25% from its all time high heading into earnings and trading way below its avg price target. And meta took a big dump this week and is down close to 25% and trading way below its avg price target as people panic over big ai spending spree.

I think these are both good stocks, and way oversold, what’s your take? Meta has big upside selling excess compute and Microsoft just continues to grow.

Thanks

Leap Options

Does anyone here have a portfolio that only does leap options? Was considering doing a small brokerage account that exclusively buys and holds leaps. These are the stocks that I’m considering Dec 2028 leaps

Microsoft $500 call
Meta $750 call
Google $425 call
Trade desk $30 call
Netflix $100 call
Nvidia $250 call
Amazon $300 call

Also for tiny consideration
Spacex $100 put

What’s up with all the large volume In after hours today

Just to name a few stocks, these had very large volume in after hours 6/26 (way above normal shares traded)
Spy 14.71 million
Qqq 6.18 million
Microsoft 54.39 million
Google 21.99 million (this was the strangest, there was 31.7 million shares sold at 4pm alone versus 60.36 million for the entire day session)

Is this due to quarterly rebalancing?

Ideal emergency fund

Hello everyone,
I’m in the process of selling my condo and moving into a single family home. Will have some leftover proceeds to stash away for a larger emergency fund, my anticipated monthly spend will increase , projected monthly spend for just me is about $4100 (includes everything mortgage, car, food, utilities etc)

My question is, what is a very strong emergency fund? 3 vs 6 vs 12 months, my job is fairly stable. Current emergency fund is about 3 months, but I have investments in a couple taxable investment accounts if I need more emergency funds.

I got laid off last year in June with a 20 week severance package, managed to find a job within a week in the same industry, and took 3 weeks off before starting the job. Obviously this is a unicorn event, just curious what a good fund should be.

Thanks.

At what point do you take profit on CSPs or CC’s?

Curious what everyone’s strategy is, is there a certain % profit at which you buy to close your CC or CSP or do you wait to just let it expire worthless?

My question really applies to weekly, by weekly options.

Thanks.

What’s your target profit percentage when selling CC’s?

Hi,
I’ve been doing the wheel this year, and I’m curious what profit percentage you target when selling a CC after CSP assignment.

Obviously it will depend how heavily in the red you are or how much you believe in the fundamentals of the stock, just curious.

2 examples, assuming a great and bad scenario:

If you were assigned Friday on an Nvidia, and let’s say it went smoothly and you sold a 215 put and were assigned on Friday, what strike CC would you sell

Now bad scenario:
Let’s says you sold a 235 put on Nvidia and you got assigned with $215 stock price at close on Friday, what would you sell for a CC?

Thanks

Opinions on selling MU options

Curious if anyone does a lot of options with Mu considering the capital needed to backup a CSP or CC’s.

Was very volatile today and sold some puts on the dip and plan to close tomorrow when more theta decay kicks in, big risk but big reward from theta.

Wondering if anyone is selling options on anything to capitalize on the IV crush.

I have a 375 call AMD expiring 5/15 and a 325 put expiring 5/8

Was thinking of Palantir too, but I’m iffy on that one.

Also sold trade desk puts and iren covered calls.

Wish I started the wheel sooner, this group has been very helpful. For context, the first year I did options was 2025, lost 35k like an idiot due to liberation day bitcoin meltdown etc.

This year focused heavily on wheeling with a little bit of swing trading options, was looking at my returns from the lowest point, Feb 11th I had 87k in my brokerage, made one more deposit of 5k.

As of the other day, I was up to 110k, took some money out so I could pay for my new hvac cash.

Trust the process and be patient, thanks to all.
