Vertical Gaming on RG35XXH

I just got this RG35XXH on a whim for cheap. I have other RGXX devices but the device is in excellent condition and the price was too good to pass up. I recently found out Tate mode after acquiring this device so now I am using this for vertical games and shmups on Knulli Scarab. Also great for portmaster games that require dual analog sticks. Overall very happy with this device.

Need help with these games

These 2 games were part of a gba collection that was given to me. I never had a neogeo pocket so I know nothing about these games. Are they worth anything? Any help is appreciated.

Finally scored!

Let me preface this by saying that this post is not about bragging or anything of the sort. This is just to share this to other fellow collectors. I am a retrogamer with a small collection of retro games. I always see posts about people getting good deals on garage sales and I’m genuinely happy for them. Me, however, have no such luck. Until now. My co-workers know my passion for gaming and they always see me during my lunch break playing my retro handhelds. So I was really surprised one morning when I arrived at work and under my desk was this 2 huge bags full of retro gaming stuff. My co-worker told me that they recently moved residences and as they were packing she found her brother’s old gaming stuff in the basement. According to her the brother does not want the stuff anymore because it was dirty and moldy and was going to throw it out. She stopped him and said she has somebody at work that may want it. His brother was surprised and said why would anyone want these dirty gaming stuff. So she brought all of it in for me and said she remembered that I like these old games. I was really surprised on what she gave me. Inside the bags are: ps one slim, dreamcast with 1 controller, 2 N64 consoles with 5 controllers and bunch of games, an xbox 360 with 3 controllers and games and a gba sp with games. So I checked the sp if it’s working and I cannot believe my luck! It’s an ags 101! I felt like I won the jackpot! I also never had an N64 growing up so I am really stoked about it! I offered her money but she said why would I pay for it when it when they were going to throw it out. I told her that some of these things have value. She said she and her brother do not really care for it. She’s glad that somebody is taking it instead of being thrown out. I guess one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure really applies in this situation. So I bought her lunch instead as a thank you. So there it is guys. I finally got lucky and scored a great haul. Just wanted to share with everyone. Happy gaming!

Smart Design

Got this case for my Miyoo Mini Plus. It’s serves as a grip, case and stand. The grip function really helps with comfort when gaming for extended periods. Overall a really nice accessory for your Miyoo Mini Plus. I highly recommend getting this case if you’re in the market for one.

Progress not saving

Hey there fellow gamers. I am in need of some input. I have managed to get Marvel Cosmic Invasion to work on my RG34xxsp using Knulli and MuOS. However, my campaign progress is not saving in Knulli but saves fine in MuOS. Has anybody else encountered this?

EDIT

It is fixed now. Just needed to download the latest version and patch it again. Thank you u/sterobertson87 and u/WaySoft5981 for the advice.

Best EDC

I love my Miyoo Mini Plus running Spruce OS. Playing outside after that dreadful heat wave we had recently.

Ipod skipping songs

I had this problem for a while where the ipod on version 1.3 does not skip to next song but the one after that. For reference I have a ipod classic 5th gen that I modded with a iflash quad with 4 64 gb micro sd’s (2 samsung and 2 PNY) and 3800 mAh battery. No matter how many times i restored and formatted ipod on my mac the issue persisted. I refused to change the sd card because both are reputable brands. Then I came across this guide on the iflash website about prepping the sd cards where it was mentioned that “iTunes restore process does not write a fresh MBR (Master Boot Record) nor does it create a new partition table – just modifies the existing table.” With this info I took out the sd cards and used rufus to format the sd card since it writes a new MBR when formatting non-bootable drives. I then plugged it in back to my mac, restored the ipod software and synced my music back. And so far the issue has been resolved. I am very happy with the results. Just sharing if anyone has been having these issue. Here’s the link for the article in case anyone is interested. Hope this helps anyone experiencing the same problem as mine.

Prepare SDXC (ExFat) for use with the iPod

PS I did not use the partition manager that they recommended. I used rufus based on the info that was written in the guide since I know rufus writes a new MBR when used to format micro sd cards.
