Psychology help

What have the profitable among you done to hone in the psychology side of trading? Any tips, books, etc? I ask because I drew down my account 25% paper handing spy/spx options 2 weeks ago today. Since then I've taken a $150k paper account to $310k. My win rate is sky high, I'm up over 100%, and it's like everything works out as planned. The only conclusion I can come to is it's my psychology and decision making under pressure that needs honing. I cant get those reps on paper because I don't feel the pressure with fake money. Frustrating to see how easy it can be.

Is this furniture salvageable/worth saving?

We got this bedroom set out of a friend's storage unit in Minnesota the other day. Looked dusty but it smells pretty musty. Reading all sorts of conflicting info about whether it's mold or mildew and how safe it is or isn't to put in my house. We got some off the top of the dresser and it honestly looks great but idk how invasive this all is and if the problem is gone once it's cleaned off.

Boot recs?

Hey all,

I'm gonna lead with this: I am going to see a boot fitter. A reputable one that made the list often seen on this sub. Went in last weekend, chatted with him, started the process, but he told me he'll have more options when the new stock comes in, which is mid July. Recommended I come back then and gave me his card.

With that out of the way, I wanted to get a general take on the different features and brands. Obviously I'll prioritize fit, but if fit is equal, I want to weigh features intelligently. Like I'm kinda leaning away from boa because it seems finicky but maybe it's better and has improved? Aiming for 110 to 120 stiffness, mostly for cost and ability reasons, but maybe those aren't what I should be looking at. Are there any brands that are overpriced or not what they used to be? For example, I see too many busted K2 boots on here to even consider them. Stuff like this.

For reference, I'm on 13 year old technica phnx max boots that are an 80 stiffness. Told that my weight and size (about 6'5", 255 lbs) puts me a ways above that flex level too. Not to mention they're just getting too old.

Thanks!

Wrestling with decision. Help.

My 10.5 year old maltese woke up Saturday throwing up. He couldn't keep water down all day. Since there was grass in some of it, we figured he got into something gross outside. By midnight Saturday night, I decided that this was beyond normal stomach upset so I set out to a 24 hr vet. I sat there until 2am when they finally told me I was looking at another 3 to 4 hours. Exhausted, I went home with him. My wife took him to an emergency vet the next day where they ran labs, blood work, and an ultrasound. Found a gallbladder mucocele and described it as late stages. His liver enzymes were off the chart. One was 28x the upper bound of normal. The vet there said it's a very specialized surgery needed with an iffy prognosis for recovery, especially for an older dog. He was sent home with some meds for comfort. The quotes for the surgery came back at nearly $10k which we just can't do. Deciding this, it seemed having him euthanized before his gallbladder ruptures would be most humane. Since that seems like it could be imminent, we set an appointment for tomorrow. Of course tonight he's 75% his normal self and has us second guessing that decision. I keep reading a week too early is better than a day too late, but it's so hard to put down a dog who seems damn near ok. Thoughts? Is he already experiencing liver damage if the enzymes are that high? Any advice is appreciated as we want to do what's best for him.

Network errors make steaming so hard on cell data

I listen to tidal on wifi and I can stream whatever I want at high quality. No issues, delays, or buffering. I listen on my cell network (Verizon) and I constantly have to push through network errors by turning airplane mode on and off. I've cleared cache, uninstalled.... Anyone got any tips? Network connection settings that might work?

Help finding an API

Hello!

I have a strategy I want paper traded before I go live with it. I simply want to be able to have a screener app I've designed pick condor setups based on my parameters and trade them and log the P&L. I have TOS and a Schwab account, but you can't link the API to a paper account. I tried tastytrade, but apparently their sandbox resets daily so I wouldn't have results to track since every trade takes place over at least one night. Alpaca doesn't come with options yet. I don't mind paying a small subscription fee if I must. Just curious if anyone has good recs for these needs.

Thanks in advance!
