i checked in today at idr
air india express
my checkin luggage was 21 (limit 25)
hand luggage i had one cabin and one laptop
then the staff asked me to measure the hand luggage aswell wtf!?
then it came out to be 8.8 and laptop bag to be 4-5
then she said it is 16 and hand bag is allowed till 7 only
so you have to pay 700 per kg now
so i asked her it doesnt happen why today no one checks hand luggage weight
she said now we have started checking the weights
and then i tried convincing her
she said okay now check in both 8.8 and 21
then pay 650
what just happened?
yes she gave me the receipt and something printed on a boarding pass like thing also which also looks like a receipt only
