New Verizon Customer Needs Help
Hello!
Last week via chat with a verizon rep I worked on getting my service ported from Tmobile to Verizon. At the end of that chat I recv an email with a receipt with an order number, location number and the details (which are accurate). The sim cards were mailed to me.
Fast forward to today. I've recv the sim cards and put them in my device. They both show no service. I tried going to verizonwireless/activatemydevice which redirects me to the app.
On the app i tried registering an account but it says my phone number doesn't exist. I've tried chatting with verizon reps on the website and keep getting passed around between the sales team, tech team and account and billing team. The last message i recv was
>I've checked both numbers provided, and it appears there isn't an active Verizon account associated with them. Please don't worry, I will bring the dedicated team into this conversation right away. They will be able to create an active Verizon account for you and activate your SIM card. Just ensure that you do not close this conversation from your end or we will lose the activation process.
The next person i was transfered to tried to help me activate my Esim. At this point I ended the chat and I'm on hold with a phone rep.
TLDR: Can't activate my sim cards because I don't have an account. Can't register an account because the phone number isn't registered with Verizon yet. WTF do I do?
Customer since 2007, just switched to Verizon
First of all, this is not directed at anyone who works at T-Mobile below the VP level.
I've been a customer since 2007. I had two lines for $100. You told me that was going to be a lifetime price. You raised it to $110 and broke that promise, I wasn't happy, It was bullshit but it wasn't worth the effort to go to arbitration.
Now you're forcing me onto a new plan and raising it another $12. $122 total with taxes for two lines.
I just switched to Verizon and with their deal got two lines for $75 all in.
You lost a loyalish customer because of greed. Peace out.
Here's my constructive complaint. Don't lie to your customers. Go back to your "uncarrier" ways.
EDIT: Listen I'm not naive, capitalism is the rule of the land. Squeeze every cent out of every customer for shareholder value. There is no customer loyality. I get it, I'm just tired of it. Two can play the capitalism game.

The FTA numbers that transit agencies (by law) have to report monthly just got published, Keep in mind these are FTA numbers, and are "unlinked" passenger trips, meaning that transfers count double (there are operational reasons that this makes sense if you're using the numbers internally, etc etc).
*March 2026: 3,115,278
*April 2026: 4,588,557.
Given the 30 day month, this would put Link at an average single day ridership of 153,000. *weekday* average ridership is probably a bit more than that. This is above LA Metro's light rail lines, in a metro area with about 1/4th the population.
Discounting regional rail systems, Link is now reporting as the 8th highest rapid transit mode in the country (with the caveat that this FTA data separately counts things like the Green Line in Boston, and the heavy rail lines in LA).
Pretty much title. Logged into my Atmos account to see them transferred out a few weeks ago. Another email was added and made the primary so I didn't see it happen. Atmos customer service is closed until tomorrow. Sigh.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? What are the chances I get those miles back?
Edit: Called Atmos, after 90 mins I got a very nice CSR. I'll have to email in a copy of my license and set up a pin. Once I do that I'll get my miles back. She said once my account is unlocked after I email the stuff in I can force 2FA by resetting my password. Once I set up 2FA it overrides the pin.
