IBD vs GI Lymphoma Ultrasound advice

Hello all!

My vet just recommended for my senior kitty (14year old neutered) to get an ultrasound after symptoms and BW. She is nervous he may have GI lymphoma vs IBD. Last 8 months started getting ear infections, scratching face raw, and getting random V/D. Adding Purina EN helped the V/D a lot, but if you give him any other snack/food, he’ll have straight diarrhea.

For all the people who had their cat get an ultrasound for GI Lymphoma vs IBD, did you get good results? They may have to do an FNA/needle aspirate, and if you did that did that give you good results too? Any advice would be lovely thanks🩷

Please help!

This is my pond, it used to be beautiful. Every year we have to do a huge clean out where we empty the whole thing, scrub and take out the algae, put all the tadpoles in a tank, then refill and put the tadpoles in.

However this year there’s gotta be over 70 tadpoles. Sadly all our fish died from stupid workers putting chemicals in the tree that leaked into our pond (workers told us it was safe).

Anyone have any recommendations of what fish/snails with help with all this algae and can live outside year round in PA. We cannot control it (multi filters already in pond). Thanks!

Anxiety with OCD tendencies or OCD

Hello! I started this year trying to figure out all my mental health problems (going to therapist and psychiatrist). I have been diagnosed with anxiety/depression/ADHD, and my anxiety meds have definitely been helping. However I brought up that I think I could have OCD and have been talking with my therapist about it for a few weeks.

I always just thought some of the things I was doing was just quirks I had, and some of them didn’t really bother me but now I’m like, is that OCD? I feel like it became more of a thing after a very bad relationship, but I probably had quirks before (have a hard time remembering past events).

Some quirks I have include:
• if I pass a dead animal on the side of the road, I always say a specific “prayer” for the animal
• I prefer numbers at even numbers/5s. So music, car honks, but if I see someone else turn music at an odd number I’m like what??? But it doesn’t bother me, I just cant do it.
• I work for a vet and have to put charges in every day for different clients. I don’t have to do a specific amount of checks (for examle 3 checks everytime), but I have to do it until It feels correct (takes at least 6 times but normally like 10+ checks)
•when I check my doors closed, just have to do it until it feels right (so 3+ times)
• I think I ruminate a lot on situations and I think I ruminated really badly in my relationship that it made me even more depressed. Always thinking of the worst 24/7. I also had weird food obsessions in the relationship where I had to eat the same exact food for breakfast or dinner every day for months and then I switched. Aka I ate a literal jar of pickles every single day for 2+ months.
•health anxiety- could just have health PTSD from being a very sick child, however I’m always thinking of the worst. Had a bad stomach ache for 2 weeks last month (turns out from my new protein powder), and I went down a rabbit hole that I may have colon cancer that progressed or ibd or etc.
• like things a certain way, I don’t feel stressed when people mess it up but I HAVE TO fix it.
• hate the unknown, aka I need a yes or no answer. I will research something until I know all the info.

Maybe I just have anxiety, my therapist thinks I have anxiety with OCD tendencies and i hate the unknown so much (gray area), like just tell me yes or no😂. Please send me your insight:)
