Weight Gain From Mirtazapine

I really need advice,
I’ve been taking Mirtazapine for longer then a year. It was recommended to me because i was severely underweight and had trouble eating (amongst other stuff) so it seemed like a med that would help with everything.

Now a year later, i haven’t stopped gaining weight. I went from 48 kg to 64 kg and its scaring me. I feel really ugly and i’m afraid that it wont stop. Does the weight gain usually stop after some time or is there something else wrong with me? Should i just quit the med?

Is it possible for OCD to get worse from the wrong type of therapy?

I really regret telling my therapist.
I feel like she doesn’t really know how to handle my situation. Some of the things we’ve done in therapy have made it worse, actually just making up new things for my mind to latch onto. I’m really scared if this is the wrong approach it will make things worse permanently
