I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the Halloween show this year. I have not kept up with MM at all since then but with the new album chapter dropping, I've been playing catch up. Just finding out that Reba and Tyler are no longer on the touring band lineup. This has me a bit disappointed because they're two of my favorites for their own individual work. Reba with her band CO, who I've been a fan of for a decade and even got to hang with them during a music video shoot in LA. Tyler, well he's a legendary producer and the reason John Wick has so much swagger in each film's scoring. I remember seeing Troy Van Leewun play with Chelsea Wolfe after producing her 2017 album. That's kind of how Ive been anticipating the Halloween show with Tyler being there.

I've always been a Manson fan but am I wrong to feel like not going to the Halloween show anymore? I wonder if this is how fans felt when John 5 departed.

Hope everyone is Northing their Lane today. 'Cut_It' is straight up 'Enemy of the night' pt. 2 and I absolutely love it. Jon is an Alien again or maybe he's something of a hybrid now, part machine part creature.

Anyways, where should I pre order the vinyl. CD, and shirt from? The band's main site or imprint merch? I want to support them directly since they're independent now. Lmk!

I remember when Snyder first started writing Batman comics back when I was in high school. 'Black Mirror' was very rad but also very different. Then him and Capullo changed the game with their New 52 era and the comic events and stories involving Batman, from there on out, for many years. I think it's rad that Snyder decided to come back and write Batman on his own terms. For a second time in a row, he's revitalized the character and has done something completely original with them. The fan base is strong too but damn I think they take it bit too far sometimes with the amount of single issues they buy.

By all means, im no old head (31 m) but I remember being able to comfortably browse a wall on Wednesdays for titles that weren't on my pull list and not feel 10 mouths breathing around me, trying to grab every issue up of AB or some other title. Everytime I line up I see a few people pre oder every cover for the next issue and I get it, some people really enjoy collecting, but I also feel the AB zeitgeist is creating a consumerism fomo. I love to see my comic book shop owner happy that sales are good but we both can't help to look at some costumers and think "it's not that serious son". Maybe I'm just not an avid collector or the current generation really wants to embrace phsyical media in a digitalised world. These are just my thoughts/observations, and by no means am I putting something or others down. Just trying to get more of a sense of a few things, feel free to respond:

1. why do you collect so many issues at once? Is it just love for the covers?

2. how do you manage to display or store everything for a single issue? Lord knows I have like 12 boxes of single issues from purchasing comics the last 15 years. Better have a few kids to pass them onto

3. is this your time being into something geeky? If it is, that would make a lot of sense in a good way though.

4. are absolute batman comics l, and comics in general, your gateway to consistently reading books? I know I've never been an avid reader of any books. But movies as a kid peaked my interest and once I picked up Kyle Higgins Nightwing #1 and Snyder's Batman #1, I was upping my vocab and inside reading voice.

5. does pineapple go on pizza? Asking this cause why not.

I've been recently listening to the album a lot. Never gave it a chance when it released because the first three tracks just didn't hook me. I know it was the last album before their Roadrunner relationship ended, but considering how 'We Are Not Your Kind' was still recently at that time, I just figured this last album was a "lets get it over with" ordeal. Overall I dig the guitar work on this, a lot of blues inspired stuff and Corey's vocals pack that southern punch as well. So I'll ask, what are the main criticisms for this album?

Disclaimer, my favorite Slipknot album and era is 'All Hope Is Gone'. Followed by 'Iowa' and 'Subliminal Verses', the latter being the album I dislike but everyone else loves. ST is overall loved so I dont rank it as it's the debut and gateway to Slipknot in general.​

To be straightforward, I am feeling very tired from the week and I dont think I'm gonna be able to handle Converge, The Armed, and PTW on a weekday. Considering I still have the Incendiary and GlassJaw show this upcoming weekend. Is anyone interested in buying my ticket? Selling it for the price I paid on TM. Lmk!

Currently indecisive about finally purchasing the chrome Mandalorian. I've always wanted to own it but figured Hot Toys would just keep making iterations of the character for years to come. The latest version for the upcoming film is perfect. No dubious amounts of weathering on the armor, a better head sculpt, figure slightly taller too. The only thing I dislike is that the suit is poop brown. I know there is a cult following of fans that swear the flight suit is accurately brown but I feel its always been more grey throughout the show and even in the new film.

I'm wondering if its just worth it to be the chrome mando on the aftermarket and buy the new one as well. That would mean I own four mando figures in my collection *yikes* but yeah. Anytime, someone asks if im a star wars fan, I nowadays say im a Mandalorian fan first, Star Wars second. Feedback on your experiences with the chrome Mando would be helpful. Does anyone else agree that based on the trailer for the new film, the flight suit is definitely not brown and hot toys got this one wrong? Is there a chance the final product is in fact grey? Thanks!
