Just got bottom braces on, pain worst in the front four teeth

I had minimal pain on my top braces and I did expect more pain on the bottom. It seems to be mostly the front four. The pain woke me up in the night. Normal?

I woke up in a nasty mood, can’t wait to get past this awful part!

Importer error every time I open a recent project - losing my mind!

Every time I close and open a project, all of the media is unlinked and attempts to re-link it brings up "The importer reported a generic error" pop-up. Moving the files to a new folder did not help. Every single file on the timeline is offline.

I have tried clearing my cache and uninstalling/reinstalling Premiere. Is there any other solution to this?

I have to edit a wedding video for a client and this is making me lose my mind.

Those who got top braces before bottoms, was it weird getting the bottoms on?

I get my bottoms braces on next week, it’ll be about two months since I had the tops on. I feel like I’m just getting used to them and now will have to start over with the bottoms.

Is it weird, or is it easy to adjust since you’ve done it already once? Does it hurt worse? I’ve had little pain on the tops.

Those whose braces are removed and had no issues - what was your hygiene routine? Diet?

I’ve been sort of miserable my first 1 1/2 months with braces because I’m constantly paranoid about my hygiene and I deprive myself of food and things I love (coffee, etc.) Even though I brush 3x a day and floss and water floss and rinse while eating etc. I’m still worried I’ll get white spots.

Anyone have reassurance?

Bottom braces on soon and thin enamel worries

My bottom front teeth have a rough feeling with what I assume is thin/damaged enamel and I’m getting nervous about the bottom braces coming on. Neither my ortho or my dentist said anything about it when I got the tops on.

Has anyone had braces with thin enamel/weak teeth without issues?

I’m one month into braces (only tops, get my bottoms in a month) and I feel like I’m losing it. It’s not painful or even the looks that bother me. It’s the anxiety and the hassle.

Eating is a pain so I’m hungry a lot of the time just bc I don’t want to deal with it. I’m anxious about everything I eat and drink. I miss coffee, wine, edibles, sweets. I know I can have them all but I just feel guilty and anxious when I do so I just don’t.

I have a 30 min nightly hygiene routine, I rinse thoroughly and use interdental brushes after I eat anything at all.

I’m also constantly getting posts in my algorithm about why braces are bad, negative experiences, etc. I’m constantly worried something will go wrong.

It’s just all stressful and I think I’m burnt out already.

Any tips or words of wisdom? Reassurance? I’m 28, if it matters.
