Petrol reduced by Rs1.49… what are you guys doing with all this extra money? 😂

Petrol is now Rs387.54 after the government generously reduced it by Rs1.49 per litre.
So if you fill 40 litres, congratulations.
You just saved Rs59.60. 😭
Don’t spend it all in one place.
What gets me is that we’ve reached a point where petrol being nearly Rs400/litre sounds normal. A few years ago that number would have sounded completely ridiculous.
And apparently Rs114 out of every litre is still taxes and duties.
At this point I’m curious: has expensive fuel actually changed how much you guys drive, or have we all just accepted it as another unavoidable expense?
Because I genuinely can’t tell anymore whether Pakistanis are adapting to inflation or just becoming numb to numbers.

Watched the Netflix series and really enjoyed it, so now I want to read the book too. Has anyone here read it?
