Color Options for Wrap

I was thinking about potentially wrapping my Elantra N despite what my girlfriend thinks about loving the color black. I don't dislike it but I'd consider being a little different. The first 2 images are the original photos for reference and the rest are the options I came up with (so far). Still on the fence and wouldn't be for a while, but I chose a couple colors and one crazy combo (towards the end). Just thought I'd share :)

These look, Familiar

I was working today and there was this 2016 Kia Optima finishing up at my shop and pulled it out since my boys were busy and I noticed that two buttons on the steering wheel in this Kia seemed familiar. Almost like Korea dabbled in this steering wheel layout before the N.

Made my friend's GRC

I ended up making the GR decal I had posted about earlier. Anyways, I designed my friend's GR Corolla in game, as close as possible. I think it came out great given they don't have the new Seibon body kit in game. First 4 pics are IRL and the last 4 are in-game

Wheel Change

As per one of my pervious posts: I was getting a lot of rubbing and damage to my bumper due to the wheel size/offset and amount of bumps we have on SoCal highways, and I wanted more meat for the sidewall/ better pricing for tires. I really like the RF06RR's so I bought them again. What I had before was 19x8.5 +35. Now I have 18x8.5 +40 with Falken RT615K. Absolutely love the fitment, love the tires, everything feels great! First 3 pics is the new setup, the rest are the old setup. In pics it looks similar but IRL there is a noticable difference, and I don't rub over bumps anymore so my bumper clips are saved 🙏🏻😂

Sparkplugs

Changing my sparkplugs at just under 48k miles. Dirty mfs. I've had the car for 16k miles and I doubt the previous owner changed them.

Genuine difference

Okay so I'm not here to say the "N" cars are factually better than Type R's and Golf R's and what have you, but why is everyone's first thing they say about the EN "Riced out economy car" or "The EN is not comparable to the big dogs like The GRC, CTR, Golf R , etc"

Like genuinely if we compared the Type R and the EN:

Both are I-4 Engines
Both have Turbo
Both are FWD
Both are highest trim of Economy Car
Both have wing from factory
Both have "adjustable" suspension settings
Both have Manual options
Both have Bucket Sets

Main differences is the manufacturers, the factory exhaust and the factory HP, but do these people realize that the things being said about the EN's can pretty much be said for every other "Economy Performance" cars?

Yeah Honda's have always been reliable and we all know Hyundai is actively lifting themselves out of the hole the previous designer dug for them. With the N Division still being relatively new compared to the history of Honda/Acura's Type R models, we know that Type R's have earned their name for performance. But the N's, within the short period of time they've been around thus far have really achieved a lot.

I also know the REAL answer to the question I'm asking is "People feel superior because they spent more money on a car" OR "People can't fathom EN's actually being good cars BECAUSE they spent so much on a Type R"

And yes, the slop comebacks and insults are all online but surely the people saying this can't be this dense right? I'm a fan of the Type R, I just never like to overspend for any product. What do you guys think about all this? Just curious :)

Costly Mistake

Well boys I've made a somewhat costly mistake but we live and learn. Originally when I was getting stuff for the N, I was replicating the Protagonists car from Need for Speed: The Run and I went with 19x8.5 +35 wheels to match similar sizing on his car. I've realized that +38 for offset is like the MAX you can run on this car before rubbing on the fenders during canyon runs, tight turns and bumps becomes an issue, and I'm at +35. I just recently had to repalce my bumper retainer brackets because it was popping my bumper out from all the rubbing, and I've had to repair 2 wheels due to potholes.

I originally didn't like the way 18in wheels looked on the N based on what I had seen only to find out I just didn't like the wheels other people had selected.

TL:DR, wheels too big, getting same wheels but smaller and higher offset. Important to listen to research before spending the $$$

Pilot Sport CUP 2

Does anybody in SoCal want these PS Cup 2 tires for cheap? I got them for free but I don't plan on using them. They're brand new they're normally $1800, I'm asking for $1200 or if you wanna make an offer hmu. They're just taking up space in my garage

Wheel Setup

Does anybody in SoCal want to buy my current wheel setup? I want to get 18's and thicker tires for the track. But also for convenience of more tire options. I have SuperSpeed RF06RR 19x8.5 +35 with Advan Neova AD09 245/35R19 Tires with 7/32nds on all of them.

The wheels were $1500 and tires were $1600 (not including labor)

I will take $1750 for the whole setup inclduing the TPMS. I just need a confirmed buyer before sending it on my new wheel setup.

LMK!

BORLA Exhaust

I full sent it on the Borla Catback. And holy FUCK does it sound nice. I have this video that my girlfriend took last night, so I'll get a better one later today because I'm currently making my own youtube video on it. Videos genuinely don't do it justice. Just as everyone says, you need to hear in person to believe it.

Trying to bring car people together

I genuinely don't think we should "respect all builds" because there are a lot of dumbasses who don't know how to do things correctly to their cars, but I don't understand why people feel like they need to be superior based off of the car that they drive. Like don't we all like the same thing at the end of the day? I'm fairly aware it's probably just the world we live in, but could you imagine that I posted this and they were still people calling me a piece of shit for driving an Elantra N? And can you guess how many of those were Type R owners? I swear it's only online people talk smack

L5 Mild Bulge

Hey all. So in August 2025 my back started absolutely killing me. I don't know how it happened, but I could barely stand straight. It hurt to even sit in my car for even 5-10 minutes, so much to where I 26M wanted to start crying.

It's a workers comp case for me and originally no imaging was done at the original clinic I was sent to. They made me do physical therapy and it didn't help at all. Got sent to a Chiropractor and it did help a little bit but not completely.

Had a huge lockup one day and went to the ER and they did a CT scan. Said that my lower spine is too straight. Got an MRI done and the final results: 4mm to the right, 2mm bulge in L5.

Went to physical therapy (again) and also massage therapy.

It only hurts when I bend over or sit and lean forward now. Anybody have any tips for how to help continue cure this or do I bear this cross forever?

Some pics

I just draw on my spare time, these are just what I have saved on my phone. I keep all my drawings in a binder, self taught fron when I was 5. I want to improve but I don't draw often enough to practice, more so just whenever I'm interested in something I draw it.

I'll make this easy. Had dentist appointment beginning if April, had filling done on back right molar cuz I had a cavity, said everything else is fine.

This tooth is also on the right side, right in front of the tooth that got the filling.

I have bruxism so the blue circle is the unfortunate hole in my tooth from clenching that's been there for years, before I got a mouthguard. The green circle (bad photos I know) I noticed 2 weeks ago and can't tell if it's fissure staining or the start of a new cavity. The photos don't make it look so bad but I notice it because of the color and nothing else.

I go every 6 months for exam/cleaning, I brush and floss everyday, use saltwater rise and also just started invisalign. Since starting Invisalign my mouth/teeth hurting all over for obvious reasons but have not noticed any with that tooth specifically, just the jaw area. No sensitivty to cold/warm, no pain even when chewing. I drink soda but have almost exclusively drank it through a straw since 4 years ago when I used to get bad staining on the back of my front bottom teeth.

Anyways; My dentist did not say anything at all about the tooth in question, not about cavity or staining either so I'm just a little confused. (I'm also lowkey a hypochondriac with dental health). She is on vacay until the 22nd and I want to know if I should go see her when she's back or if I'm chillin.

I get good discounts at the shop I work at and I get bonuses so even though I had bought the Indy 500's based on previous experience, I wanted something new with ACTUAL grip. These AD09's feel GREAT. I absolutely love them. Indy 500's were never the endgame.
