Lemon and Herb… now spicy?

The last two visits to Nando’s I’ve ordered lemon and herb as the spice level. But it seems to now be quite spicy and no taste of lemon and herb at all? Have they changed the recipe or is my local branch making a mistake? Does have lemon and herb little flag in it.

Seafood

My husband loves seafood. It’s his birthday coming up and I want to take him to a seafood restaurant or a restaurant with a decent seafood selection. Not fussed about location. We stay in the north of Bristol but willing to travel up to 45 mins

Omelette - North Bristol

Any recommendations for somewhere that does omelettes in North Bristol? Heading to Southmead hospital for an appointment later this morning and want to go somewhere to sit for a coffee and omelette after. Thinking Gloucester Road area possibly?

Document / World Cup Screenings

Has anyone been to a World Cup screening at document? I booked tickets for my husband and friends for this evening. However, they’ve turned up and the bar only had vodka or cider? (I know before someone comments first world problems) but they didn’t have beer? For a World Cup screening? Seems a little unfair especially when you need to pay for a ticket too? They’ve actually left the venue as a result…

John vs Pete Tong

I hate to say this because I love John. But seeing his side and Pete’s side it doesn’t look very good for John. Or rather his management have not passed on communication and now John looks terrible.

Carrie/Big/Aiden

I know this has been spoken about so much on here. But I am rewatching for the first time in about a decade. I just need to vent. Carries behaviour AFTER Aiden takes her back is beyond hurtful and ridiculous. How can she take phone calls from Big whilst Aiden is there. Then inviting him to the country
House. Like how selfish can you be? Imagine Aiden invited the girl from his bar.

ER - Revival

Full disclosure I don’t actually think they should ever try to bring back ER (It was perfect as it was) but just for a little creative fun. If it did come back to our screens. What characters would you like to see back at County? What are some storylines you could imagine? I’d like to see Morris for sure as Head of ER. I do not want Sam back but I’d like to see someone fresh as nurse manager

Favourite Funny Moments?

I know ER made us cry and was full of drama but there were also some funny moments. What were some of your favourites? I feel like Morris was responsible for a big chunk of them for me! His four nipples! Also when Pratt finds out about Romano death and says something about him really upsetting helicopters!

Dr Pratt

His death is so sad. Watching it again crying my eyes out. Him and Dr Greene are such painful deaths. I think Pratt gets me more because of the character arc, witnessing him become this amazing leader.

Mosquitos?

Anyone know if you can be/have been bitten by a mosquito recently? I have what I think is a mosquito bite which is a first for me in the UK. Usually abroad I get eaten alive (I’ve tried so many different repellents too) but my bite is exactly as I normally experience with a mosquito bite. A quick google says it is possible to be bitten by mosquitos in the Uk

Actors of ER

The actors on ER were brilliant and did some amazing performances. So why is it that a lot of the actors don’t seem to have done much/well known shows following ER? I know some have but there is a lot that haven’t? Even Noah Wyle.. I know he’s doing the Pitt now but I can’t think of anything else he’s been in?

Weaver

Obviously fantastic acting with how much I dislike her haha. But wow what a b*tch she is. So bitter and mean. Particularly against the other females. The episode where she’s trying to move in on Chen and Susan Lewis traumas. They’re telling her they have it under control and she keeps butting in.

Mechanic North Bristol

Looking for a mechanic in north Bristol? I’m based in Stoke Gifford but don’t mind travelling around 20 minutes. I’m specially looking for a garage to take a look at my boot on my 2017 polo. I think the sensor is gone and I can no longer open my boot. When I try to open either automatically with fob or manually I can hear the lock whirring but physically can’t open it.

Independent Cafe - Prices

Went to an independent cafe today as always try to eat independent and local as much as I can. However, I walked away feeling really shocked by the prices and wanted to gage whether actually it was pretty reasonable or bit on the expensive side. I am gonna refrain from naming the cafe initially I think unless the comments feel the cafe should be named. But it was me, my husband and our young daughter. We ate and drank the following; Chicken and bacon panini (came with side salad) , egg mayonnaise sandwich (came with side salad), children’s meal of toast, one sausage , scrambled egg and some beans, side of fries (small portion), peppermint tea, Orange San Pelligrino and a chocolate milkshake. The bill was £50 which I was pretty shocked by? The food was nice… but the egg mayo sandwich which was just normal granary bread loaf was £10? They just make a fair profit on that? We haven’t been out for a breakfast/lunch for a fair bit now and just wondered is that just the going rate now? Also want to say I am aware it is difficult in hospitality just now and they have overheads to pay.

Bristol Cinemas?

What is the best cinema in Bristol for comfy seats and decent snacks? We have a very rare toddler free day coming up and we haven’t been to the cinema in years!! I really fancy a visit to the cinema. Based in Filton but don’t mind travelling
