Was I right or wrong for backing out on this rental when I saw this and the landlord didn’t take it seriously ?

east coast of north carolina in a house from the 30’s. my mom who is allergic to mold, started having an allergic reaction while she was painting the room for me, we started looking around and found this soft spot in the kitchen. I was hopeful that it wasn’t anything too serious, and if it was mold, it could be treated. The landlord is being very dismissive about the situation, he cut open the soft spot and sent me those two pictures of the inside of the wall and said that he didn’t see any mold in there. he did say they fixed a leak there 9 months ago and there havent been any issues. The ceiling is sagging and you can feel the humidity radiating in that room, I put a 65 quart dehumidifier in there that filled up at least twice, it could have or may have filled up more if I had been there to change it, and I’m not sure if the landlord working on the house that day had dumped it out either.

Philo Campo Maturity Process

for the past year, since I figured out philo campo can mature into this cool shape, it has been my project to take a baby cutting and mature it as fast as possible. I traded for a small 2 inch pot that had a couple rooted cuttings in it, and i planted them with a moss pole. the moss pole currently stands at chest height with me. the past few leaves were starting to get the cool wings at the top, but got damaged during moving. this is my first super mature shaped leaf with no damage on it! I am so excited with the results, after it throws another leaf or two I will be doing a chop and extend. I highly recommend putting your campo on a moss pole!
