For my fellow people who have been in a major and had a enough of how things have progressively changed for the worst. Where did you change carrers to ?

So I clocked in at work @ 3:59, I lined up at the window to get my equipment and then I have a small 5 min conversation with my coworker who is telling me about which trucks are broken.Anywho while talking to him i'm trying to setup my scanner and printer. Then I see the senior manager walking to the warehouse to go talk to her managers. I end my conversation and begin to walk through the warehouse to my truck out of nowhere she says to me From at least 50 feet away, "what time does the pickups start?" ( mind you i had one conversation with this lady in my life and I been at the company for over 15 years and she been here only 1 year. ) I turn around and im shocked. I was honestly speechless. I actually studdered I said around 4:30 to 5:00. She then says "your moving like you have nowhere to be". Then my manager walks into the conversation and said him and the coworker i was speaking to earlier cleaned out a truck so I could use it. I walked away and I was out the building by 4:15.

I could understand if had a 20 min conversation or I was bullshitting on the clock but I had a legitimate to know why a truck was down and logginginto a scanner and setting up a printer takes 5 mins.

I know it doesn't seem like much but I take it personal that she said that to me like im a bad employee. I show up, do my work, I don't milk the clock. If I was a bad employee I wouldn't have made it 15 years in a company. I really feel like she has something against me .The tone in her voice really said it all

Last month on the 18th, I came home and took a shower and rubbed out around 10am , then i went to sleep. I had to rush to pick up my girlfriend from the airport at 1 pm. Long story short: I work in a union shop and I'm a union delegate. I failed to complete some training, which restricted me from clocking out. I stayed an extra two hours to complete the training and notified my supervisor and manager. The pay period was about to close, and they sent me an email saying to submit a request so I could get paid for the missing clock-out. This amounted to eight hours of pay. Thirteen days passed, and payroll was about to close on Tuesday. I received an email monday and I submitted multiple requests on tuesday.I came to work Wednesday, and then the manager wanted the supervisors to give me a documented discussion. Until I had that discussion, they weren't going to approve my pay for the missing eight hours.

In accordance to my JCBA, it is a violation of the contract. But on a federal and state level, is there anything else that I can do? Because I feel like it's retaliation, and it's unfair treatment ? What makes matters worse is, I saw the email saying that until the documents and discussion is to be had with me, the manager wasn't going to approve the pay, and he sent that to supervisory.That was willing to show me that email.

My parents are good people who worked hard and gave me everything they could. They made me walk a straight line, graduate high school early, went to college to get a BA and MBA, but they made terrible financial decisions. They have little money saved for retirement, no 401k, and never bought a house. Now they depend on me and their SSDI monthly income to survive. Basically, I'm part of their equation. Without me, they wouldn't have enough money to even cover rent. Am I the only one stuck in this scenario?

Does anyone know what's going on with the NASFT and them forcing people to get a VSP ?
