Cheating Cultist!

Had a cultist come up to me asking to be married to another cultist. They insisted they were deeply in love, almost as much as they love me. I was moved, flattered even, and I gave in. Marry away!

There was a beautiful wedding ceremony, cheers and love all over the place, wedding cake, a few other cultists even cried. Right after the ceremony, I let them have their time in the tent with their new spouse. They immediately conceived a beautiful baby, which will inevitably be sacrificed down the line, but that’s not the point. It was a hell of a day to say the least.

Let me tell you, the time in the tent must have awoken something, because the VERY NEXT DAY, the same cultist comes up to me and says that they want to have tent time with ANOTHER CULTIST. Either I accepted or lost 25 faith. Me, not wanting to lose faith, agreed and let them have their fun. After their blatant adultery, they come out and start talking about how it’s “our little secret”. EXCUSE ME? DON’T BRING ME INTO THIS!

I thought that was the end of it, but the day after, THEY COME UP TO ME AGAIN ASKING TO GO AT IT WITH YET ANOTHER CULTIST. Again, either accept or lose faith. At this point, my faith was already dangerously low because I made everyone eat bowls of poop to unlock the poop follower form, so I hesitantly agreed. They come out looking almost drunk, and guilt trips me talking about how what their spouse “doesn’t know won’t hurt them” and “they swear it was the last time”.

But guess what? It wasn’t. The next day, they run up to me AGAIN with another name, talking as if there was no way I would say no. Well guess what? I rejected their request. They started crying and knocked my faith down, so I murdered them in their sleep. I refuse to be held hostage by faith.

Now I have a widow, 2 adultered children sitting in the playpen, and a bunch of guilt over everything I know.

Should I marry the widow? Should I let the children grow up and murder them too? Should I resurrect the cultist and let them keep spreading their seed? This game stresses me out.

Tips for Beginners

Wrote this on another post but figured I’d add it here as its own post for more visibility. If anyone else wants to give some tips, leave a comment and I can add it here as well.

  1. Learn movement. Seriously. Movement is one of the most important things to learn in this game. Jump dashing, timing chakra jumps, directional rolling when knocked down and getting familiar with your lunge range are core skills you have to learn. This is where so many people fall short!
  2. Know when to substitute. Don’t burn a sub on a shuriken. After you get hit, you have about 2 seconds where you can still press the sub button. Use that to bait people in and escape.
  3. Blocking and deflecting. This should become second nature. Learn to block properly and when to block. Someone just subbed? They always sub behind you (there’s very few exceptions to this, like the Baryon mode sub. Right after someone subs, they’re most likely going to counter attack you. Block immediately before you get hit. Block while you’re jumping or moving if possible. If you’re getting hit while blocking, deflect the attack. It can give you a chance to back up a bit and a deflect also counts as an attack, so the enemy might even burn a sub on it.
  4. Learn the perks of each class. Healers heavy attacks break shields, which drains all subs. Defense cant get stunned by most attacks when they’re doing heavy attacks. Range heavy attacks are long distance attacks, and attack heavy attacks tend to do alot of damage. There’s more to this, (ex: range has the lowest overall health pool) but those are the main ones you should know. Knowing this will change how you approach each fight. For example, remember how I just said that if someone subs, you should block? You might not always want to do that against an aggressive healer. They might heavy attack you and instantly break your block, causing you to be stunned on top of losing all your subs.
  5. Dont follow “best builds” on youtube. Learn the effects and range of each jutsu and apply it to your own build. For example, chidori and onyx chidori both have built in super armor during the attack. This means you wont get knocked back by other attacks while you’re charging in with those attacks. Onyx chidori also sub locks and stuns enemies in place. Learning these things comes with time and practice and is how some of the most potent builds get made, most of which dont even end up on youtube.

I could go on and on but these are some of the most important tips I could think of.

Anyone else feel extremely annoyed when they receive an AI written email?

This has become such a pet peeve of mine especially over the past year. It feels lazy and, in a significant way, disrespectful. Especially when it comes from a colleague.

I would much rather receive an email that’s authentic and genuine than copy and pasted AI slop. I’m concerned that people literally won’t be thinking for themselves anymore, and our day to day interactions are just going to be back and forth LLM conversations. This is so uncanny.

Just had to share this somewhere.
