So let me get straight how Evelyn got the main plot ball got rolling:

1. Evelyn works at Clouds, and she catches the eye of Yorinobu Arasaka.

2. They start dating for a time and somehow the Voodoo Boys learn about this, and they hire her to scout Yorinobu's apartment, then by eavesdropping Evelyn learns they are after the relic and that is worth a ton of money.

3. Evelyn decides she wants the money for herself to leave Night City, so goes behind the backs of the Voodoo boys, and hires the fixer that she thinks is the easiest to scam : Dexter De Shawn.

4. Shawn hires us, we do the heist, things go horribly wrong, we are betrayed by Shawn and killed to cover his tracks.

5. Due the fallout, Evelyn seeks shelter in the Clouds that is under the Tyger Claws control in an attempt to not get the Mox nor Judy involved in her mess.

6. The Voodoo Boys learn Evelyn tried to hoodwink them, and prepare a hit for her in Cyberspace. They execute the hit while Evelyn is working as a Doll in Clouds.

7. Whatever the VDBs did left Evelyn unresponsive. Clouds tried to help her, but cant, that fat dude takes advantage of Evelyn, eventually sells her to Fingers.

8. Fingers actually tries to help Evelyn, but despite being a ripper doc he can't figure it out what is wrong with her. After a couple of days he call his Fixer to ask for additional help.

9. His fixer is Wakako who is the person that actually sells Evelyn to the Scavs, the Scavs get her, then proceed to torture her and r*pe her to make Brain dances.

10. V eventually rescues her, but she is mentally exhausted, and while waiting for her to recover, she kills herself.

So my questions are:

Was Dexter going to betray Jackie and V regardless, or he only betray them because of horribly the hit went?

Why did Evelyn choose to hide in Clouds, if she wanted to protect the Mox she could have gone everywhere else?

Was there a particular reason Wakako sold Evelyn to the Scavs, or was she just being opportunistic and making a quick buck?

Did the VDBs knew about the heist before it went downhill, Dexter mention contacting some brothers from Pacifica who told him to stop asking questions?

Any answers would be appreciated.

Yes I know the joke of corpse starch, but I recently found out that is more of a meme. Corpse Starch apart from not being sustainable is emergency rations and can't support a human population, apart from some exceptions (Necromunda) is not part of the average hive dweller's diet.

So I was watching the 1975 Kung Fu movie "The 18 Bronze men". The movie is about a Shaolin temple that teaches a highly effective form of Kung Fu, however if you go study there you cant leave until you graduate, and in order to graduate you have to pass the test of the 18 Bronze men, where 18 Shaolin teachers clad in bronze makes you go trough a series of chamber where they try to test/kill you.

In the original movie it was pretty standard, an orphaned hero goes to the temple, trough many trials graduates, passes the test and goes to get revenge to their evil general who killed his family.

There is a sequel "Return of the 18 Bronze Men", that in my opinion is much better because how it plays with the concept. Instead of your standard hero, you follow an evil prince who is quite talented at Kung Fu, he wants to improve his Kung Fu, so he goes undercover in the Shaolin Temple. He goes like in the previous movie trough many trials and tribulations, and you kind of start rooting for him as he takes the grueling training and doesn't give up. He eventually takes the test goes trough all the chambers, and then as he is going to the last chamber, the monks figure out he is a prince and basically expel him just as he is entering the final chamber, and for me this was such a blue balls moments, he was about to take the final test, maybe he fails or something, but the monks are nah go home, they should have just let him take the test or jump him or something.

Then the prince just leaves very very pissed at this, then it flash forward after he was crowned emperor (after framing his brother for the murder of a noble and falsifying his father's will), his advisors tell him the Shaoling Temple has mounted a rebellion against him, and he is like damn those Monks got hands. The movie ends here.

And I am so flabbergasted, the movie ends in an anticlimax, the protagonist didn't get to take the final test, and then the movie ends with the Emperor preparing to put down the Shaolin rebellion, which by the by him being the Quing Emperor means the Shaolin Monks fail, and in fact a Quing Emperor did put down a rebellion started by Shaolin Monks. So the movie ends in a cliffhanger that if you know how history turns out, it implies that the Emperor wins, and the temple and the Shaolin Monks get destroyed.

So Necromunda has: Genestealer cults, Unsanctioned Psykers, Chaos Cultist, Hereteks, Literal Xenos. All acting in the open, also Necromunda nearby the Sol System and is being monitored by Space Marines. How the heck they can get away with so much, while other planets the mere discovery of a Chaos Rune gets the them orbital bombarded?

So I went and caught up to the fate of Naruto (trapped in the parent dimension) and Sasuke (turned into a tree) Regardless of the Quality of the story, are their roles done in Boruto or can they still come back to play a sort of role?

Because I imagine unless they get a power up they can't really make a difference because they have been nerfed to the point their Shippuden counterparts are more effective, and are not main characters anymore. Also the story is called Boruto.
