Everyone is telling me to use round up. I’m not doing that in an area my dogs live in.
I have a (roughly) 30mx30m fenced area that i need to get rid of the weeds in without also getting rid of my dogs. The wet season has gone on longer than expected here and it got away from me. It’s overgrown and unsafe for my dogs. I live in QLD Australia, it’s all the basic weeds as well as lantana etc. I don’t expect what’s suggested to kill the lantana, i will pull that. So far i’ve been weeding by hand and its killing me 😅
Usually it’s much worse. Today she had a meaty bone to chew on and wasn’t as bad. It also doesn’t matter if i exercise her first, have her in a crate, loose in the yard, etc.
She only does it when i take out one of my other dogs without her, and as i like to do one-on-one time with my dogs regularly, plus sometimes its easier to take 1 or 2 out instead of 3, it’s not one of those “Just take her too” situations.
I live with my parents still and have neighbours. She needs to learn how to be left behind and i am at my wits end trying to get it to happen 😂
