also had a beer at everywhere at the far end (next to the dodgers shuttle), which has to be one of the most impressive locations ever for a brewery

finally made it here for the first time! started at onion valley campground, reached the pass, continued down to bullfrog lake, back up kearsarge pass trail before descending to the car.
incredible alpine views, but the trek back up to kearsarge pass the second time was an @$$ kicker woo lol
distance: 16.27 miles | elevation gain: 4,360ft
on montana near fathers office - still $7.75!
most of what we ate from our recent trip! fave meal was at roadhouse in jackson. and apologies for including food closer to yellowstone, but just in case some were visiting both parks…
7.
brutally epic point-to-point course traveling the CDT and countless ridgelines while straddling the idaho/montana border.
coming from sea level did me no favors with a high point of over 10K, but fortunately i didn't suffer from elevation too badly, outside of a persistent headache.
most of the hairier segments didn't even make the cut - i was so mentally drained from focusing on the terrain, that i had no energy to film. for anyone who hasn't run this, i recommend the race highly!
taken last week (july 13-15) - with highlights including lamar valley, grand prismatic spring, and turquoise pool. 3 days wasn’t enough, but that just means a future return trip is in the cards!
had a dreamy few days last week, highlighted by delta lake, sunrise at schwabacher landing, and cascade canyon. already looking forward to returning!
this was incredible - fluffy egg, cheese, sausage patty, hashbrown, pepperoncini, and gochujang aioli
the crunch from the skin never ceases to bring a smile to my face
the win~dow (rose) - sometimes you reach nirvana thru a burger
cute and delicious danish bakery in culver city - grabbed the raspberry and a slice of their butter ring cake this morning and they promptly disappeared
pictured are the valrhona chocolate w/maldon sea salt (9/10) and the incredible blueberry (11/10) - order on his website and pick up in brentwood.
as good as the blueberry is the banana caramel, which i tore into and totally forgot about capturing…
they aren’t cheap at $7.50, but once you bite into them any thought of cost dissolves into deliciousness.
it’s everything it’s cracked up to be. the insane scallop aquachile ($17) + tostada de jurel ($12) + legendary smoked kanpachi taco ($8) + taco de pulpo ($8).
has anyone tried the tasting menu here?
the cochinita pobil tacos (with habanero salsa) at chicken itza + the taco sonia (pork chorizo, seared beef, nopal, potatoes) at komal. both were outstanding in their own right - the tacos at cochinita pobil were juicy and delicious, whereas the taco (yes it's $13 but closer to the size of a burrito) at komal was like an embarrassment of riches, with the bright cactus providing a hit of vibrancy.
bonus is that i was in line right behind chefs gregory gourdet (pann PDX) and jon yao (kato LA)!
papaya salad w/salted shrimp + moo ping + jade noodles w/crispy pork (thai medium spicy)). this is usually my go to, but what else is a must?
but when nyletta in culver city calls, you answer
