Wrapped up a beat from last night - we fw this not nah?

Decided to flip a joint off the new Jungle album

I never fucked with house/new jack? This was basically an accident when chopping up a disco joint.

This the first time I’ve taken sample from different songs (3 songs in total) and put it together.

Since picking up music I only been basically making boom bap shit so I’m curious on thoughts and opinions for anyone that fw this style of music.

This sound is NOT in my wheelhouse but had fun trying something different

I don’t really know what genre this is or anything but had a fun jam session and kinda wanted to finish this beat out - I know it’s a little rough - I’m tryna see if I can export it to logic and touch it up.

It’s kind of hard to get the little details right on the sample it feels like.

As always, thoughts , feedback etc lmk - I’m tryna improve

I don’t listen to techno or EDM much at all - a little house but I was chopping up an old funk song and then randomly got the idea to fuck with some other drums and I don’t know I just caught a vibe - this is not my wheel house or music I listen to generally so I have no idea if this shit is good or bad.

I’m not really sure where to go with this beat but I’ll try and finish up later this week or something and just wanted to share.

I'm picturing like a benny the butcher type beat for this on - This is my first boom bap beat - would appreciate any feedback - On this one I tried pitching my drums for the first time ever and i've been learning finger drumming and got a little drum break going just finger drumming - every beat is a lesson -

I’m so so so glad I copped this machine - it’s genuinely brought a lot of joy in my life - from not knowing how the hell to work this thing or make a beat in the slightest a few months ago to completing …this is my fourth beat? And I feel myself getting faster, just wanted to share - I know most ppl here can prolly wrap a few beats in a day but to me it’s a lot.

Anyway, I wanted to try something a little different this time, so enjoy!
