Rope drop or take the shuttle at Toy Story parking lot when they open?

If we want to be there early, would it be more efficient to do rope drop or just take the very first shuttle ride from Toy Story parking lot to the park?

I read that security can be done thru the parking lot this way so I don't know if it'll end up being the same (time wise) as being there for rope drop.

TIA!

Solara Inn or Kings Inn

Not looking for an expensive place to stay at. As long as it is clean, safe and preferably free parking.

I know Kings Inn does not offer free parking but it is very walkable from the park so I am considering it. And the daily parking fee says $15 compared to the others at $30.

Solara Inn looks good too but recent reviews on google made me think otherwise. I was set on booking this until after reading those reviews.

Looking for other suggestions too, preferably within close proximity as we are planning on spending two days to go DL and DCA

Thank you!

Alhambra airbnb location for a quick vacation, ok?

Family of 3, visiting LA/San Diego for 4 days. Will have a car rental and I do not mind driving to get around places.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arriving around lunch time. Plan is to just drive around touristy spots in LA. Like hollywood sign, santa monica pier, rodeo drive, etc.

Day 2: Spending all day in Disneyland. Planning on getting there first thing in the morning and leave after the fireworks show.

Day 3: Driving to Legoland. Might spend all day? Haven't been so I'm not really sure. But planning to stay in San Diego for the night

Day 4: Drive around places in San Diego, drive back for evening flight.

For the stays, I'm looking to rent an Airbnb in the Alhambra location. Seems quiet and safe and sits between west LA and disneyland. Is this okay? Also, unsure about the rules and regulations for renting out bnbs so any tips help.

Thank you!

Photos and videos

Anybody know the handles of the tour photographers/videographers? Or even pages that posts them aside from thefalloff26?

I'm looking for a photo of me and wife that a photographer took while buying merch at the truck before the concert in montreal.

Thanks!

Buy Merch in advance?

Montreal show, anybody got any info if merch will be up for sale in advance? Like a day before or morning of the concert date?

Appreciate the info!

First pair of Asics, Kayano 14 or Kayano 12.1, which one should I get?

I'm not new to ASICS since I use the Novablast and Superblast for running, but this will be my first pair for casual/lifestyle wear. I'd love to get some input from you guys on which would be a better pick between the Kayano 14 and the Kayano 12.1.

My initial choice was the GEL-1130 because of its sleek design. I like how versatile it is and how well it pairs with slim, straight, or baggy pants, as well as shorts. Are the Kayanos similarly versatile?

Not many stores in my area carry the Kayanos, especially the 12.1, so I can't really just go to the mall and try them on for myself.

The only similar pairs I own are the Nike Vomero 5 and the NB 9060. I usually wear flat shoes like vans or sambas.

Ring finally arrived!!

I asked for advice, in this sub 3 weeks ago, to help me with picking the right stone for my ring.

Well, the ring arrived yesterday and I figured I'd share the final product.

New ring is the oval, I used the old cushion for comparison.

Zuvelio Purchase Review

I would like to share my experience with purchasing a ring from Zuvelio group buy.

I purchased one of the Oval Moissanite Ring offers back in April/May.

My order details and initial requests are shown in one of the photos. One request not shown is to have the ring shipped on or before June 20.

May 7: Order Placed

May 8: Order Confirmed by Zuvelio

May 9: Sent multiple questions and concerns that I had

May 11: Got a response, answered all my questions and provided a timeline update

May 12: Sent another question, Zuvelio responded the same day

May 13: More questions, answered within the same day

May 14: More questions, answered within the same day

May 15: More questions, answered within the same day, got a notification that they had issues with their WhatsApp number

May 18: Tried reaching out to ask for new contact info, no response

May 19: Found the new WhatsApp number via one of the comment section, reached out for an update, got a response within the same day but they did not recognize my number so they asked for my order information (reasonable since they lost their old number and history)

May 25: Asked for an update, no response

May 27: I received the Stone Check video, responded with my concerns and requested for a different stone

May 28: Zuvelio responded to my concerns and offered a re-shoot, but I insisted on having a secondary stone option

June 2: Received the 2nd stone's Stone Check video, although it was not clarified that it was a different stone than the first one (I couldn't tell). I ended up requesting for another stone because I thought the video was of the 1st stone.

June 4: Received confirmation that a new stone is being cut for me

June 7: Sent an inquiry for a different ring

June 10: Zuvelio Responded to my inquiry with FULL information of what I asked, quite long interaction with quick back and forths

June 12: Zuvelio reached out to me about my inquiry

June 15: More talk about my second inquiry with prompt responses. Reminded them about my order and that I would like to have it by June 20 if possible.

June 17: Zuvelio responded and apologized for the delay in processing the new stone, promised to receive a video in 1-2 days

June 19: Zuvelio sent a Stone Check video of the 3rd stone. I requested for another video shoot of ALL the stones in natural lighting and indoor lighting

June 22: Received a few videos showing ALL three stones in different lighting just as requested. Had a few questions so back and forth messaging with prompt responses

June 23: I have selected and confirmed the stone that I want

June 24: Zuvelio confirmed my stone selection and notified me that they will proceed with manufacturing the ring, told me that processing will take about 4-7 days

July 6: Received my pre-shipping video of the ring and a bunch of photos. Also asked me to confirm my shipping information.

July 7: I have given the go signal to proceed with finalization and confirmed my address

July 8: Acknowledged my permission to finalize things. Provided more information about shipping, how it works, what type of shipping they will go with, etc. I then provided my approval to all of the things and told them to proceed with shipping.

July 9: Zuvelio sent the shipping information, tracking number, etc. (Estimated Delivery - July 17)

July 13: My ring was delivered way ahead of time, signature required. The Ring was packed in MULTIPLE layers (7-8 layers of wrapping)

Verdict: Although the ring was delivered one month after my target due date, it was mostly my fault because I had requested for 3 different stones. I am actually surprised how FAST the shipping was given that it got sent out Thursday night + the upcoming weekend. The packaging was very secure, so secure that the ring itself was wrapped in tissue, inside a small ziploc, inside the ring box, inside a bigger box, package sealed, bigger box is then wrapped in 3 layers of bubble wrap, then wrapped in a zuvelio shipping bag and lastly a plain white shipping bag. It was INSANE, in a good way.

My complaints: The ring box quality could be better, but really everything else exceed my expectations and I am partially to blame for any mishaps along the way. Messaging can be more precise but they never lack giving any information requested and they even responded to some of my reddit comments when I voiced my concern but they weren't tagged or even mentioned in the posts. As for the ring, gold plating isn't really close to gold. It is more like champagne in color, works for me but others might not like it.

The Ring: ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! I ordered for a 3.5 Carat and the stone turned out to be 4.20 carats (from the certificate they provided). The craftmanship is impeccable and the stone is VERY CLEAR, not cloudy. I had placed it under the sun, bathroom light, room light, warm indoor light, cool indoor light and it sparkles every single time! I bought a ring box that had a built in light, placed the ring in there, turned off the light in a very dark room and all I can see was sparkles and the walls/ceiling looked like a disco ball. And to my surprise, the stone actually shines blue when lit in the dark, that only happens on diamonds under UV light but seeing it like that was insane.

TLDR: Very happy with my overall experience with Zuvelio. Most of all, I am more than glad with the ring that I have received from them. PICTURES and VIDEOS do not do it justice!

I also have a cushion diamond engagement ring included in the photos and videos for comparison. (Video in the comments)

Good idea?

Good idea?

I am currently TH11, have the offensive buildings upgraded. I figured i'll take advantage of the summer jam so I went ahead and started the upgrade to TH12.

Would it be a good idea to just rush it to TH13 and catch up from there? I'm thinking there's nothing valuable in TH12 but TH13 will unlock RC for me and can start leveling her up during the 3rd/4th week.

Any feedback? Thanks!

Final Selection - Help!

Hi, again! I have made 2 posts asking for help, tips and advice. I greatly appreciate the community for their awesome input that helped me navigate thru this stone selection.

Stone: 3.5 carats, 13mm x 8.5mm

For clarity, I apparently received 3 stone options (i thought it was just 2 until today). The video above shows all 3 stones in both indoor and outdoor lighting.

(knuckle being bottom and tip of finger is top)

(A) Bottom/Left: 1st stone offered (brilliant cut)

(B) Middle: 2nd stone offered (brilliant cut)

(C) Top/Right: 3rd stone offered (portrait cut is what the vendor called it, looks like a hybrid cut to me)

What is the best option out of the three?

Goal:

- Avoid cloudiness/milkiness over time like some have highlighted in this sub

- Look real, to look closer to a diamond is a huge plus, but really the main thing is I don't want the stone to look like a prop, if that makes sense (which sort of ties to my cloudiness/milkiness concern).

- Bowties, opinions?

- What is your pick? A, B or C?

Seeing all three in one video, I realized all of them look gorgeous and it just made it harder for me to pick.

Thank you, community!!

Feedback and tips needed

Hello Experts!

Looking to get some feedback on my stone and any tips on what to ask them to do for a better view of the stone's quality. Or even asking for a different stone if it's bad.

I can definitely see the bow tie but i'm not knowledgeable enough to tell whether this is passable or not.

Asked for a brilliant or diamond cut and the stone is 3.5 carat (13.04 x 8.511)

Thank you!!

Edit: Have to make a decision in 12 hours

The video shows two stones: first is moissanite and the second is lab grown diamond.

Are there any noticeable or significant difference between the two?

Im looking to get a ring made and my choice is the moissanite. Stone specs would be 3.5 carat with a size of 13.04mm x 8.51mm (1.53 ratio). Ring size is 5.5 US

What I know: im aware that moissanites tend to be cloudy/milky especially in oval shape and given my stone size, it is more than likely to be noticeable. I also know that there are 3 common cuts of moissy oval which are brilliant cut, diamond cut and crushed ice. In the video, I cannot tell if the moissanite stone is diamond cut or crushed ice cut. Could you? My choices are diamond cut and brilliant cut, but cannot decide which one to get.

My goal: since the stone is oval and fairly large, i would like to avoid getting a cloudy/milky stone because it would look "fake" and more like a prop ring rather than an elegant engagement ring. So my priority is for the moissanite to look more natural and clear. In the video, they look fairly similar to me and I wouldn't mind getting the same moissanite shown.

My ask: since I'm looking to finalize my order this week, I will most likely be looking at different oval moissanite selections. What should I look out for to get the proper stone that I want? Any info or tips is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Edit: Im also aware that there are other cuts such as OMC and similar, but those are not my preference. And there aren't noticeable bow ties on either stone shown in the video, which is also my preference.
