Well just drug her home. First boat in 25 years, and first with a steering wheel!
Got 2 boys and don't want to miss out on the best fishing years. Wish me luck boys!
I found an old Jubilee bracelet from a mod watch i bought a bunch of years ago. Figured WHY NOT and finagled it onto the 556ib.
You know what.. I DONT THINK I LIKE IT. Kinda kills the tool watch feel that I like so much about the 556 line. Back to the summer rubber stap it goes.
1988 Citizen Eagle 7 Auto and a nice Americano
Family vacation to the Rocky Mountains. Took the kid and the field mechanical fly fishing!
Thanks to the advice from this place, I picked up an Ogata SG2 Bunka 180mm. I had chefknivestogo put a final edge on it for like $15. Only played with it for a minute or 2, but first impressions are very good!
Have been slinging the Tojiro Shirogami ITK Gyuto 240mm for about 5 years now. Im looking to add a new one to the daily rotation. Looking for a Bunka between 6.5 & 7.5" with a decently tall profile for under $200. IF you guys were choosing between these 3, what would you choose? Also taking suggestions for others that fit those stats.
Well I pulled the trigger for my 11 year old. He had started trail ridge with a 10 year old Pacific and snapped the pedal off of it! So upgraded to something that is safer to put on trails. So far he loves it and I put it though a bit of a test and she's a decent ride. But I'm old and hate the 2.6"tires and wide handle bars ! He said he likes em so I'll leave them for now. Only immediate thing I am thinking of changing is the front ring. I don't think he needs the bike so low geared YET. thinking of jumping from a 30t to a 34t. Got some higher top end. And if he starts real riding I can swap him back.
