nail clipping trick

unfortunately i can’t find the sub or the person who said it but, lightly sticking a piece paper from a lint roller onto your kitty’s head completely disables their operating mechanism and makes it 100x easier to clip nails! my kitty is usually very aggressive and i have to burrito her but she barely made a noise doing this!

do i try EMDR therapy to validate that something really did happen?

store bought hot spicy chicken sammy😋

around the age of 13-15 i finally spoke up about something that i experienced within the family and things exploded in every way that i feared. due to the nature of what happened, it got to a point where i had to talk to a caseworker… i felt like i ruined everyone’s relationship with each other. i don’t believe that anyone ever actually believed me..

as years passed, i learned that somehow the case was dropped, everyone reestablished their relationships with one another and kind of acted like nothing happened and it messed me up. i slowly began to feel like i made up the whole thing, it had to have been a dream, they wouldn’t have done that.

i recently learned a bit about something called EMDR therapy and how it can pretty much help you revisit traumatic events in healthy ways to cope, at least that’s my understanding. i feel like this is my chance to really concentrate and go back to what happened and if it happened. i just need to soothe my soul.
