AMC Companion Seats

i recently seen that more odyssey showtimes in IMAX 70mm were released at LS however, the only “good” seats left were wheelchair accessible seats alongside the companion seats, and I felt way toooo bad to book the companion seat. So I have to ask, how often do we see those seats occupied and does booking the companion seats make someone a greedy douche if they’re not a companion?

Odysseus’ AURA

How this Odyssey moment felt to me —Gen-Z interpretation. I loved it—7/10 in Imax 70mm. Phenomenal cinematography and acting. For those who have seen The Odyssey, did you read Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey novel prior? How would you rate the storyline based on the novels?

Dealing with friends flaking on plans

As someone (early 20s) who is extremely adventurous and loves having fun but would rather not always do things alone, genuinely curious; how do you handle friends who continuously avoid hangouts? By avoiding, I mean they’ll literally agree to plans and then cancel every time. I recently asked an acquaintance to hang out, and we booked tickets and everything. Afterward, they changed their mind because of the weather. When I asked if they wanted to go on a different day, they literally said they were too busy to hang out. So, I just said, “okay, bye,” and blocked them. Is it too dramatic to not want to pursue relationships with people I’m never going to see? I don’t need a texting buddy.

Watch the movie Obsession if you need to be completely turned off romantically

Hey, for anyone who has seen the movie Obsession, did you leave feeling queasy or really sick/shaken to your core? Like, I’m literally so scared—this film is like one of those nightmares you wake up from sweating and relieved as heck. I’m not really fearful of much except for not living up to my full potential, but I would say this film’s plot is definitely a close runner-up. I’m scared

Hi my fellow nyc ladies, i’m on a first date right now and we were in the uber just talking until he causally just asked me how much i weighed—-i answered because i didn’t mind—- however, i asked him why he asked and he was like “because you’re really skinny” i silently cried the entire uber ride to the restaurant…. I’m already a really super emotional person, but also because I had every man in the past make fun of my weight to the point where i developed an eating disorder and i overcame it. I can’t help to ask—-this is a red flag? should i just ditch him at the restaurant right now?
