I loved the whole show front to back. I think an analogy I can make, loosely, is Ted Lasso.

Sure Ted Lasso is about a football (soccer) team. But it’s much more than that; it’s about the personal relationships of the characters and watching them grow over the course of the show.

I think the Bear is similar, sure season 1 and season 2 were fast paced and revolved around the restaurant more. I can also agree that season 3 and 4 were slower, but I think we got a lot of character development in those seasons. Also can mention the beautiful cinematography.

Just my two cents.

This is probably skewed given overall Reddit audience. However how many of you are the “IT wizard” either at work or with family.

Personally I am a ‘97 kid and grew up with a family windows XP computer and learned how to install games via CD when I was like 7 then install Minecraft mods around 13-15.

I was always in the know about new tech things and devices through middle school and high school, somewhat college.

But to this day, at work, my job has nothing to do with IT, but I am the go to IT guy. (Very vey small, 5 employees, business).

I still have to walk my boss through choosing the right speaker and microphone settings for a zoom call, after 3-5 years of COVID remote working.

Additionally I have built my own home media and private gaming server, built PCs, and know how to configure networks.

Maybe it’s just my curious nature learning all these things.

But how many of you are the go to IT person?

I see people older than us competent enough (1-10 years older) and see younger people (3-10 years younger) so out of touch and unable to use file systems, but my view is our microgeneration is WAYYYY too competent in computer systems and are going to be the unofficial IT persons anywhere we go.

I used to be able to find block ice at king soopers or Safeway years ago, but having trouble now.

Has anyone seen a place to get it? Closer to the SE side of Aurora would be preferred, but don’t mind driving around to pick it up.

My neighborhood just got Quantum Fiber installed and I was looking at switching over, price wise it is about the same but I like the symmetrical up and down bandwidth that comes with fiber, especially because I run a home network that I like to access away from home.

I wanted to see if anyone has switched recently, especially in a newer installed area, and what your experience has been with Quantum. They were under Century Link, but bought out by AT&T and transitioned over this year. Now I hate all the ISPs but I have heard since the switch its even hard to get service. I have my own router I would keep and use some switches and APs around the house.

Please let me know your experience and if you would switch from xfinity to quantum.

Current Xfinity: $65/mo, unlimited data, 1 Gig plan, download speeds 1000 Mbps, upload speeds 35Mbps

Possible Quantum: $55/mo, unlimited data, 940Mbps symmetrical download and upload speed
