Moon-Inspired Stories from the Coasts of Africa

I recently published my fourth book. 🌙

My last book came out in 2022, so getting here has taken considerably longer than I imagined. And yes, I know, “it’s just a collection of short stories” makes that timeline sound slightly ridiculous. 😂 But life happened. Moving, sickness, changes, false starts, and all the strange little detours that can make creating something feel much harder than it did when you first imagined it.
But I’m finally here, and I’m genuinely so happy to have this book in the world.

The Moon Knows All the Secrets of the World is a collection of nine stories that wander between magical realism interspersed with African cosmology, science fiction, psychological horror, and doomsday romance. Basically, a few different literary planets somehow ended up in the same orbit.

It’s a very personal book, and I’d be grateful if you took a look at it, especially if any of those genres sound like your particular cup of tea.
It’s also available in paperback and Kindle Unlimited.

[IRTR] Looking for Online Magazines, Blogs & Interview Platforms

I’m looking to connect with people who run online magazines, blogs, newsletters, or other written interview platforms that feature conversations with creatives.
I’m a Nigerian writer and storyteller based in Lagos , and I’d love to explore written interviews as an alternative to podcast guest exchanges. Sometimes location, time zones, scheduling, or just the sheer logistics of getting two people into the same virtual room can make podcasts unnecessarily difficult. A good old-fashioned Q&A solves quite a bit of that. 😄
A few things I’d be happy to talk about:
✍🏽** Writing & storytelling, particularly the creative process and the stories we tell
🌍 Creativity from an African perspective, and the ways African voices remain underrepresented in many global creative conversations
🪷 Spirituality & creativity, and how the inner life can influence artistic work
🧠 ADHD & creativity, including navigating creative work and ideas with an ADHD brain
🎨 Art & AI, especially the evolving relationship between artists, technology, and authenticity
🗣️
Language & being a polyglo**t, and how moving between languages and cultures shapes the way we see and express the world
🌱 Creativity in general, including inspiration, identity, culture, and the strange machinery behind making things
If you run an online publication, blog, magazine, newsletter, or similar platform and you’re open to interviewing writers/creatives, I’d love to hear from you.
Feel free to drop your publication below or send me a message. I’m happy to provide more information about myself and my work.
And if you know someone who might be interested, point them this way. 🌙

The body of 20-year-old journalist Pelumi Onifade, who died after being arrested in Lagos during the #EndSARS protests, has been identified. Who should be held responsible for this tragedy?
