light, fresh, and not too sweet

My daughter asked me to make both a chocolate cake and a whipped cream cake for her birthday, so I ended up making this fresh strawberry one today.

It turned out really light, fresh, and not too sweet — she absolutely loved it, which made me really happy 🙂

Honestly, I liked it even more than store-bought cakes 😅

Made jeyuk bokkeum for guests today and everyone loved it. The plate disappeared way faster than I expected 🔥

Made a creamy soup with potatoes, mushrooms, and carrots, then finished it with parmesan and olive oil.
Really simple but perfect for a quiet night.

Made a simple eomuk guk with radish and green onions.

The broth turned out really light and comforting.

Does anyone else love Korean shrimp chips? Whenever I go to the Korean mart I always end up stocking up on them. They seem kinda plain but I just can’t stop eating them.

I eat them plain most of the time but they’re also so good dipped in any sauce I have at home. The chili sauce combo is seriously the best lol.
