After picking up the key from the table, I went to the room where Ao Oni was. When Ao Oni started chasing me, the door wouldn’t open, so I died.

While I was on the save/load screen, the chase music kept playing. When I loaded my save, I had somehow turned into the Ao Oni character. I was most likely still playing as Hiroshi, but my character model seemed to be merged with Ao Oni.

When I entered another room, I turned back into Hiroshi and the music stopped. I also noticed that I couldn’t open my inventory.

I went through all the rooms, and when I entered the room where Ao Oni was, the chase started again. I could walk through the Ao Oni character, and he couldn’t kill me. Every time I tried to open the door, another Ao Oni would spawn.

I closed and restarted the game, and when I loaded the same save again, the bug was gone.

Rose Doll is an original body horror organism I designed. Below is a fictional biological report documenting the species.

Temporary taxonomic designation: Rosa anthropophaga

The Rose Doll is a carnivorous, plant-like organism that spends the majority of its life cycle completely buried underground. Only a single red rose remains visible above the soil surface. It develops no stem, leaves, or visible root system.

The organism continuously releases volatile compounds resembling the odor of decomposing muscle tissue. Low-level exposure causes nausea and headaches, while higher concentrations have been associated with vomiting, loss of balance, impaired consciousness, and syncope.

The Rose Doll does not respond to brief encounters. However, when the same individual remains nearby for an extended period, the organism's metabolic activity increases significantly. At this stage, its buried body mass forces its way through the soil and emerges at the surface.

The anatomy of the emerged structure does not correspond to that of any known species. In the region where lower limbs would normally be expected, two arms ending in human-like hands are present. These appendages function exclusively as locomotive limbs. During movement, the joints appear to bend in reverse, allowing the organism to support its entire body weight while crawling.

The Rose Doll begins hunting only after emerging from the ground. It first attracts its target through a combination of chemical secretions and vocalizations. Once the victim becomes incapable of movement, the organism initiates a physical attack using its appendages. Documented cases indicate that its hands and finger-like structures play an active role in tearing apart soft tissues.

To consume the soft tissue removed from its victims, the Rose Doll uses a specialized biological opening located between its locomotive appendages as a functional mouth. Organic material is chemically broken down within this cavity, initiating the organism's external digestive process. The consumed tissue gradually integrates with the organism's own muscle-like structure, forming a prominent fleshy mass across the central region of its body. This mass is believed to serve as a temporary reservoir for absorbed nutrients and as a source of material for continuous tissue regeneration.

Autopsy reports consistently indicate that most of the victims' soft tissues have been consumed, while skeletal structures are generally left largely intact.

Most of the emerged body consists of continuously regenerating muscle-like fibers. During movement, fragments of this tissue frequently detach and scatter into the surrounding environment. These detached tissues begin to decompose within several hours, after which new tissue rapidly regenerates to replace the loss.

The decaying flesh contaminates the surrounding soil with toxic compounds. Most invertebrates that feed on this tissue die shortly afterward, and their remains gradually accumulate around the organism. As a result, the natural habitat of the Rose Doll is typically covered with insect exoskeletons, small animal bones, and dark organic debris.

The origin of the Rose Doll remains unknown. However, some researchers suspect that a number of infant disappearance cases reported in recent years may be associated with these organisms. Although no conclusive evidence has been found regarding the fate of the missing infants, biological similarities have been reported between newly discovered Rose Doll specimens and certain unresolved disappearance cases.

The mechanism by which infants might transform into these organisms remains entirely unknown. Examined specimens exhibit several anatomical structures resembling remnants of human embryonic development; however, no biological mechanism capable of explaining such a transformation has yet been identified.

During the night, the Rose Doll emits sounds resembling the cries of a human infant. Whether these vocalizations are merely mimicry or a residual characteristic of its previous biological form remains unknown. Witnesses consistently describe the cries as disturbing, echoing, and profoundly unnatural. For this reason, many researchers believe that the Rose Doll's predatory behavior relies not only on physical aggression but also on psychological manipulation.

What's the most disturbing thing you've ever eaten?

This is one of the recurring dreams I used to have.

No dream has ever scared me as much as this one. I think what made it even more frightening was that it kept repeating.

The dream always takes place in my own house. At first, everything is completely normal. Then, without any explanation, everyone around me suddenly disappears. As this happens, I find myself walking toward the balcony. It happens the same way every time.

When I step outside, the sky is always pitch black. Then a massive explosion tears across the sky, as if the sky itself has split in half. A gigantic planet, glowing in shades of red and purple, emerges from the opening. It looks like the end of the world. Everything starts being pulled toward it, gravity seems to stop working properly, and reality itself feels like it's falling apart.

At that moment, I see a UFO in the sky. This detail is important to me because I occasionally see the same UFO in other dreams as well. But in this dream, while everything is happening, it just stays there, perfectly still, as if it's watching me.

I don't run or try to hide. I just stand there, unable to take my eyes off the planet. It feels both breathtaking and absolutely terrifying at the same time. I haven't had this dream in a long time, but strangely enough, I wish I could experience it again.
