Leaving Toronto to Bring Caribbean Fusion to BC

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself and our new food truck, Sauce Culture, that’s launching here in Lower Mainland, BC.

I grew up in Toronto surrounded by amazing food and Caribbean culture. One of my biggest inspirations has always been my uncle, who owns Rasta Pasta the original and longest-standing Caribbean-Italian fusion restaurant in Toronto. Watching what he built and seeing people from every background line up for food that brought different cultures together had a huge impact on me growing up.
That inspired me to start my own journey.

After moving to British Columbia, I felt there was an opportunity to bring that same energy out west… not to copy what my family built, but to put my own spin on it and create something that celebrates bold flavours and different cultures coming together.

That’s how Sauce Culture was born.
Our menu is simple but packed with flavour:
🍗 Jerk Chicken
🧈 Butter Chicken
🍟 Loaded Poutines
🍝 Cultured Pastas
🍚 Soul Food Rice Bowls

Everything is built around comfort food with influences from Caribbean, Indian, Italian and Canadian flavours.
We’re a family-owned business just getting started, and honestly, it’s been a huge learning experience building a food truck from the ground up. There have been plenty of challenges, but we’re excited to finally hit the road.
If you see the truck around Lower Mainland, come say hi! We’d love to meet people, hear your feedback, and become part of the local food community.

Thanks for letting me share our story. Looking forward to serving BC soon! 🇨🇦❤️
