He's terrified of loud noises but so good at avoiding medication after we hide it in the same thing a few times.

I have a problem wif my Meowmy. She got dis fing where her brain don't work right an she don't focus good. It called da A-D- somefing. I discover a long time ago dat I need to come sit by her bout an hour before lunch or dinner time or she might forget dat I am here an I need food. Den if it go past meal time I gotta start doing fings like lightly patpatpat wif my paws or get in her face so she know I'm not just sitting wif her for company.

Today it past lunchtime an I'm sitting on da couch right next to her head an she still not feeding me. Any udder kitties wif broken brain pawrents got suggestions on how I can keep hers attention? I already tried headbutting her boob.

So my favrite favrite fing is when Meowmy open da door an just leave da screen door closed. I can watch da whole neighborhood AND smell all da smells, and have da door between me and da scary outside. It's even better den my window. I can sit dere and watch for hours.

But Meowmy only do it sometime. Like tonight she waited many hours after she came home before she opened da door for me, until after it was dark. I ask her, why she wait so long? She say, "Bucky it almost a hunnert degrees today, if I open da door before it cool down outside we gonna melt." I don't know what she mean. She turn on da AC in da house so it stay cool, can't she just turn on da AC in da outside?

Also when it get late, she close da door even if I not done looking and smelling! I twitch my tail as hard as I can to show her how irritated I am but she just say, "Bucky we gotta go to bed and we can't leave da door open all night or we gonna get murdered in our sleep." I move to my window instead and look very hard but I don't see no murderers so I fink she making dat up.

How do I soo for more open door times? I need unrestricted access to da outside smells wif da screen door keeping me safe.

I heard Meowmy open a can in da kitchen. I smelled da fishies. So I came out to investigate. I sniffed an I sniffed an I followed my nosie to Meowmy's food bowl but she would not share. She tell me to get off da couch an leave her foods alone. I never beg for or try to steal da human food but dis smell delicious.

I fink fish in cans is for kitties. It not for humans. Can I soo Meowmy for eating my foods?

I read a lot of posts here to decide what to start with. These are Tiny Tots and I had them on avocado toast with a variety of toppings. My ratings:

Just avocado, lemon juice, salt: 4/10

Avocado, lemon juice, salt, everything bagel seasoning: 7/10

Avocado, lemon juice, salt, furikake: 3/10

Avocado, lemon juice, salt, locally made truffle hot sauce: 8/10

Overall I had expected to be more challenged by either the texture or the flavor but was surprised by how mild and pleasant they were. I'm mostly looking for easy, affordable, healthy meals since I am very overweight and also so tired and burned out after work that I rarely cook because of it. I know Alton Brown lost a ton of weight eating lots of avocado toast with sardines.

I had the Cole's Smoked Salmon over rice with chili crisp for dinner last night and it was quite good but not sure how affordable it was at $8/tin.

I also bought a tin of the Cole's rainbow trout and one of Kroger smoked oysters (the only thing I had tried before and know I will like). And one of Chicken of the Sea sardines in hot sauce that I bought before coming here and reading that they might be not very good.

I was looking at the following tins at other local grocery stores:

Matiz plain, spicy, or lemon sardines at $5, mussels at $7, giant calamari at $8

Bela regular or spicy sardines at $6

Mina sardines for <$4

Patagonia sardines in coconut curry, tomato sauce, or with beans for about $7, all flavors of mussels at $8

Fishwife sardines with preserved lemon or hot peppers normally $9 but on sale for $7, albacore tuna for $6

I like the look of the Patagonia tins but they are getting up there in price of I'm trying to be cost effective. Mina and Matiz sardines seemed like the best bang for buck for decent quality, and Fishwife seemed worth trying while on sale. Thoughts or suggestions?

I keep having pawblems wif Meowmy not sticking to da routine. Here's how it sposed to go: Meowmy come home from work, she feed me my dinner, an den we cuddle. Lots of time lately I don't feel like actually cuddling wif Meowmy because I would rather cuddle with 😻blankie😻. But dat my prerogative an also we still spending time togedder on da bed so nuffin wrong wif dat.

Today Meowmy come home an feed me like she sposed to but den instead of getting on da bed to wait for me to grace her wif my presence, she warm up dinner for her own self an den she spend more den an hour sitting on da couch talking to Pawther.

Den when she finally come join me on da bed, I had missed her an I also needed to rub my smell on her cuz she smell like her workplace. I got up off 😻blankie😻 an did my loudest purrs an went over to her for cuddles an pets. If she stopped petting, I headbutted until she petted again. She laff an say, "Oh was you jealous? Is dis how I get you to like me better den 😻blankie😻 again?"

I need to make sure she not keep wifholding cuddles to make me want dem more. Only I am allowed to wifhold cuddles. Wat do I do?

First, I want to fank all my frens in da norfwest who sent da rain down to us in Suddern Orygun. Da fire dat scared Meowmy was already under control but da rain dat showed up yesterday an today really helped.

We got rain da next 3 days wif highs in da mid sebbendies to high sixxies. Den by next week, we back into da high eighties an low nineties. No more wind warnings in da near future which is very good for da fire season.

Webber for Suddern Orygun is heckin wimdy. We got a severe high wimd warning in effect until sebben PM. Wimds from twennyfibe to firtyfibe mile per hour wif gusts of up to sixxy mile. Dere's lots of trees an power lines dat fall down. Meowmy very nervous an keep checking a fing on her phone called Watch Doody cuz dere a fire not very far away. She say dis remind her of when da whole valley try to burn down in twennytwenny, before I dopted her.

We is hunkered down on da new bed doing a mutual protec. We hearing da WEEEEooooo noises an Meowmy put some of my foods an udder fings in a bag in case we gotta vakyooate. I don't know what dat mean but it not sound fun. She say she had to vakyooate twice in twennytwenny. She say it very impawtent dat I keep snuggling wif her an not hide under da bed in case we gotta go quick.

EDIT: Da Watch Doody tell Meowmy we don't gotta worry bout da fire no more. It still burning but it staying put an not coming dis way.

Meowmy was so excited when I finally sat in it.

Da last two nights dere is somefing outside mine front door. I sit on da doormat an smell an smell what I can smell under da door but Meowmy an Pawther not let me outside to imvestigate. Last night dey open da door but not da storm door, so I got to smell more but could not go outside an find it. Tonight Meowmy not even do dat much, she just say I'm freaking her out an ask me what is out dere.

Dere somefing very interesting out dere an dey too scared to let me go find it. It not fair. I never ever ever ask to go outside before, I'm scare of da outside, but I need to go find da smelly fing. Can I soo for false imprisonment an interfering wif my imvestigation?

(The last two nights at like 10-11pm Bucky has suddenly been super interested in something he smells outside the front door. We can't see anything. We live downtown in a quiet town, otherwise I'd assume it was a wild animal. It's starting to freak me out a little.)
