Twitching everywhere but mostly legs

34F. Last October I started feeling tugging in my right calf when walking and then twitching. I had an EMG in mid November and it came back normal. Since then the weird calf sensation comes and goes intermittently and varies between a tugging sensation to feeling like the calf muscle doesn’t fully engage when I walk. When I flex my calves it feels like the left one flexes deeper and more throughout than the right. I don’t have muscle atrophy exactly but when I flex the right one looks slightly like it can flex less. I also randomly will feel burning down there. The calf not engaging I feel mostly when I’m barefoot. I’ve had an MRI of my leg and knee and it came back normal and I’ve also had a vascular study and it was also normal. The doctor didn’t think it was ALS and thinks it’s lumbar radiculopthy. But in the last two weeks I’ve felt an increase in fasciculations in both legs. Like a lot. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and noticed I was having them in my legs. Could this be ALS? I mostly notice them at rest but they happen in my arms too. I have so much anxiety and it’s all I think about. Any insight is much appreciated

Spanish language at home. Too shy to speak english at school

My husband and I speak solely Spanish to our kids (2 and 4). We have never spoken English to them. Our families also only speak Spanish to them. Their only English exposure is when we’re out and about (we live in the US) and when my husband and I speak to each other in English on occasion. They also only had a Spanish speaking nanny. My daughter started pre-k last year three days a week and it was her first immersion into English. She learned a lot quickly and understands almost everything, but refused to speak because she is shy. This year she is in preschool five full days. She has responded to the teacher a few times in English (poly to the teacher not for everyone to hear) but still isn’t speaking English to her friends. She tells me she’s embarrassed because it’s not perfect (she’s a huge perfectionist). I’ve tried telling her that her friends won’t notice and love her no matter what just as she does when her friends are learning Spanish in class but she’s still so embarrassed for them to hear her. And she knows soooo much English. Granted it’s only been a month but I’m stressing. Anyone with the same teaching approach have any tips? When did your kids start feeling comfortable speaking the main language (English) outside the home?

Does this sound like ALS?

34F. A year ago in October I started feeling tugging in my right calf when walking and then twitching. I had an EMG in mid November and it came back normal. The calf not engaging I feel mostly when I’m barefoot. I’ve had an MRI of my leg and knee and it came back normal and I’ve also had a vascular study and it was also normal. The doctor didn’t think it was ALS and didn’t recommend a second EMG. He thinks I should go see ortho for my lumbar spine. I’ve recently felt fasciculations in both legs. Could this be ALS? Should I ask for another EMG? I have so much anxiety and it’s all I think about

Covid course of symptoms?

I had two days of sore throat and today woke up with body aches and thought to take a test and tested positive. How long did your symptoms last? And what was the course of your symptoms?

Weather during first week of Oct?

We’re planning to go to Cabo the first of October but I’m looking at the weather and wondering if it’s still going to be consistently raining then and we should postpone. Thoughts?

Disneyland Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Q

We're taking our daughters to Disneyland for the first time in the fall for the first time. They will be 2.5yrs and 4 yrs. I know the age limit is 3 yrs old for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and you need a ticket. Our youngest is so close to 3yrs and I don't want to make her feel left out. I'm also not worried about her sitting still getting her hair done as I do her hair every morning so she is used to it. We don't live close to CA so this is a special trip and I don't know when we will be back. We bought 3 day park passes for us and our oldest (our 2 yr old gets in free). Could I just buy our 2yr old a one day park and make a reservation for her at the boutique that way?
