ive been to like 40 or 50 countries/provinces across all continents, im on a road trip through NS right now and coming from NY, the interactions I've had with locals have been so wholesome. People start up conversation just to give advice on what to see, to say welcome, comment on something else, say hi to our dog. it has really stuck out to me and has felt very unique to this specific region (i also lived in Quebec for 4 years! )

I am OBSESSED with the puzzle books called Murdoku. They are logic puzzles kind of like sudoku, and really well created. None of the puzzles require assumptions to complete, so you dont have to make a guess and then backtrack and erase. I seriously spend hours each day solving these and wanted to share. I solve them when eating meals instead of scrolling on IG. You can try them for free on their website to see if you like them.

hello! My husband and I dont want to share our top name with anyone we know, so I thought I might get reactions/ thoughts from here, bc I am just curious how the name is perceived.

Baby boy will be half white and half moroccan.

Hello

I had a TA scan at 11w1d last week and noticed they took two measurements of cervix length. One was 2.78 the other was 2.49. Doctor didn't note anything about this, but after googling I am now spiraling out. I have had multiple early miscarriages, and thus multiple procedures requiring cervical dilation. This is the furthest I have ever made it in a pregnancy and now I am concerned I could possibly develop IC. Any thoughts or advice as to how to procede from here? Is it possible the length stays stable throughout 2nd trimester and this is no reason to worry? Seeing my MFM next Monday. TY!

i couldnt sleep last night and was scrolling in this sub. saw a post about someone being disappointed about gender reveal. another post about a woman who is pregnant and having a hard time stopping smoking weed. both were downvoted, which makes them less likely to be seen by other people. this bothered me, upvoting a post doesnt mean you agree, like "yay for smoking pot while pregnant!!!" it just gives it a chance for the person to hear from others and get help / opinions. it feels judgmental-someone who is posting that kind of stuff is being vulnerable and is obviously looking for help and insight. idk just my early morning 2 cents
