Freddy's Revenge Resurgence

Something I've always wondered, at what point did people start to turn around on Freedy's Revenge?

I remember a time when Part 2 was the one movie in the series that not a lot of people would talk about, especially not in a favorable light. Like it was the "bastard stepchild" of the series that no one liked, so when did people start to change their minds about it and say that it wasn't as bad as it's been mentioned to be?

Characters who benefited from a change in the MCU

Who are some Marvel characters you think were actually made better by any changes that were done to them or their backstories when being introduced in the MCU?

I would think the prime example would be Tony Stark. Now, I don't know a lot about how he was written in the comics before the Iron Man movie, but he usually came off to me like a more serious character.

Then, when RDJ portrayed Tony in the MCU, he added more of his personality and humor to the character, so much so that any portrayal of Tony Stark afterwards in any other media (cartoons, video games, etc.) was usually based off of RDJ's version of him.

Open availability

I’ve had Sundays and Mondays off ever since 2011, I never requested it or anything they just started having me off on those days.

In 2024, I noticed my hours were going from 35 and 40 to around 30, When I spoke to my SM about it she says it’s because I don’t have “open availability”, so because I have set days off I suddenly get my hours cut, I thought it was complete bullshit.

Now last year, with the company having new owners, we had to set our availability. Now because of personal obligations, I can only work until 5pm; so I set my hours from 6am to 5pm, I figure that I could still work 8 or 7 hours in between that.

Cut to this year, our SM does our schedules, and now she’s had scheduled for only 25 hours a week. Personally I think that’s fucked up, so I spoke to her again and once again she brings up “open availability”. We have the hours, but she’s just not willing to give me any; I’m full time but I’m only getting scheduled as part time which means I’m not getting any PTO.

My grandmother passed away a few months ago, and I was told that I can’t get bereavement pay because I don’t have full time hours, and because of this they had to take it from the PTO I did have; maybe I’m wrong but it just feels like my SM is fucking with me.

Sorry for this being so long but my question is: am I wrong for thinking this is unfair or is this just how open availability works?

▲ 2 r/TNA

Okay, so as of right now we have Xia Brookside feuding with Lei Ying Li, Jada Stone feuding with Tasha Steelz, Rosemary shenanigans with Tessa and her crew, and the Elegance Brand doing whatever it is they’re doing right now.

All that’s going on and yet no one is trying to get the Knockouts title? The current champ isn’t even from TNA, she’s NXT talent, and they haven’t brought anyone else up from NXT to compete in TNA in months. All that’s left is Elanya Black, Myla Grace, Hayley Hudson and Indi Hartwell; are they waiting for someone else to come along and take that title from Arianna?
