I love all my backyard veg but nothing is better than a vine ripe tomato and a pinch of sea salt.

A welcome break from sun today!

This is the 3rd crop of sunflowers this season planted. We have had an explosive rabbit population this year and my first planting of seedlings were eaten down to the nubs overnight....second planting I used plastic pots to protect them but that didn't last long, as soon as they grew above the pots they were eaten. Third times a charm as I had to install stakes and bird mesh as a fencing around them. I dont think they will reach a true height before blooming completely but its a victory for me regardless. 💪🏽🌻🐇

One of my favorite parts of my garden every year. This trellis hopefully has a few more years in her. She is roughly 8 years old and held many gourds during the summer seasons. ✌🏽💚
