Hyundai CPO Falsificafion Jeff Wyler Beavercreek OH

Does anyone have experience with issues pulling off the lot and finding that what was supposed to have been cleared on the CPO is not?

I wasn't able to check the tread depth with anything handy when I went to pick this up today around 6pm.

The tires looked used obviously, but since it is supposed to have passed a CPO Inspection- which to the understanding I've gathered is supposed to be at least 5/32 tread or replace the tire- and in the case of the AWD, all of the tires of one of them needs replaced- i figured well I'll change them sooner than later.

I did not realize sooner would be within 2 hours and around 60 miles of driving.

Not even rough. Didn't hit anything. Just started losing air. Pulled over and tried to air up.

Heard a massive air leak, found the back side of the side wall of the rear driver tire had begun to fray.

According to Google AI, its physically impossible to have caused that much wear or damage in that time and it was absolutely a problem beforehand.

Added a link to show the actual damage since I didn't have the flash on in that one Tire Damage One tire I can understand. Things happen. I even understand sucking at your job or half assing it. I'm human and I am not always 100% either.

But 4 tires with tread like this?? Gross negligence at best or intentional falsification to avoid replace 4 tires at their own cost is more what i would wager. The gamble that it would fail in a time period that could be blamed on me, rather than absolute failure to properly adhere to their own CPO.

From what I can gather online, contacting Hyundai Corporate customer care directly can affect their CPO licensing if they're falsifying CPOs.

I am curious to see what the manager says in the morning. They can use this video to train their techs?

New Car Day! (Sort of sucks)

2024 Limited AWD with 19k miles!

Picked her up at 6pm. Been sitting waiting for a tow since 8pm.

Certified pre owned should mean they've verglified tire integrity ought to last more than 2 hours and less than 6o miles, right?

Curious why the interior of the side wall on the driver rear is ate up!!

She is a pretty car to have to wait in, though, and the mega recliner is super cozy.

Planned on spending all night in my car, just not like this!

Still mega happy with the car itself. I was gonna get 18s eventually anyway, may just start off with that at this rate!

Edit: adding the name Jeff Wyler Hyundai of Beavercreek OH to the post so that it can be associated with the issue if anyone considers looking into purchasing from them!

My Last Tank of Gas

It was a fun run for a few years, but 20$ should get me to work later, and the dealership Friday for the trade in on my 2024 Limited AWD!

Salesman said if I bring it in on E, that's completely fine.

Think I'll roar it down the interstate in front of them until the light is on? One last hoorah until I embrace the future.

Fun side note: I dispatch gas trucks for a living! Can't wait to have my EV plugged into the office next to everyone else's huge diesel trucks.

2024 Limited AWD Hard Driving Modifications

I am picking up my used but new to me car on Friday.

Coming out of a 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, I honestly plan on driving this in sport mode as aggressively as possible most of the time.

Efficiency isn't much concern for me since I charge at work and recoup my daily trip and have a charging station 2 blocks from my house for any other needs.

I was curious about modifications to improve the handling/stability/longevity of abusing the car as frequently as possible.

I'm not much of a mechanically inclined car guy. I enjoy cars and go-fast-quick but, a lot of the technical and mechanical side is foreign to me.

Anyone else out there drive this thing like they stole it basically 24/7?

Curious to see experiences and can't wait to join the club friday! It came out to almost what I pay for my eclipse plus the premium gas monthly...why not get a 17 year newer luxury car that is even more car than the eclipse?

Also grateful that the turning radius of the eclipse trained me for this car. I read all over about this feeling like a boat, but the eclipse is even wider (40ft) so it'll drive like a dream

Reminds me of dad's old Monte carlo SS in the steering wheel and feel
