What is the proper category to use for payments made to the state/government for annual business taxes?

Probably a stupid question, but I am relatively new to Wave. I'm not seeing any option that looks quite right in the "Category" section, but not sure how to best account for that outflow of cash

What are everyone's favorite budget-friendly bookkeeping platforms? And why?

I currently use Wave for my small business, because it's free and worked for what I needed in our first stage.
When it came time for tax season, I found out that the accountant collaboration feature was moved over to the Pro Account option. Between that, and wanting to be able to link our account to our bank transactions, I was thinking of upgrading.

But before I did, if I am going to be paying for one of these services, I'd prefer to go with the one that is best for its money.
Does anyone have any experience with the Wave Pro tier? Able to speak to any pros, cons, or other platforms you prefer and why?

Where can I find independent films / filmmakers whose work champions body autonomy?

I am building out the program for a Philadelphia-based short film festival I am launching this July, called DO NOT DISTURB, which is organized around the theme of embodied liberation. It is designed as a mutual aid film festival, the ticket proceeds of which will be entirely devoted to the Abortion Liberation Fund of PA.

I would love to find any films/filmmakers who have made non-fiction work around the general theme of the body autonomy. That can include anything from films about:

- Reproductive access
- Advocacy for sex workers and assault survivors
- History of censored and uncensored bodies in media
- LGBTQAI+ rights and protections
- Any other cinematic reflection of the free body in modern society

Definitely open to either narrative or documentary work for this!

Any leads on this would be really appreciated - I am really hoping to find ways to connect with filmmakers and festival organizers who explore and champion these themes. Whether that's here, or in being pointed to other message boards or communities I might not know about.

Thanks so much!

Any documentary film festival organizers out there?

Narrative work on these themes is welcome too, but figured the documentary space would be a simpler place to start.

DO NOT DISTURB is an adult arts assembly founded on embodied liberation, aspiring to channel creativity, community, and carnality into mutual aid and material action.

Our ticketed events serve as fundraisers supporting the liberties increasingly at risk in the current American climate. Since beginning in late 2025, we have raised over $2,000 for the Abortion Liberation Fund of PA.

***

This year DO NOT DISTURB is launching its inaugural film festival: a one-day screening event of short films, promoting political and social liberation via the liberated body in the motion picture.

Liberation concerns more than just libido. It stands not only for agency over our bodies’ pleasure, but over our bodies themselves. The programming blocs reflect this in two categories:

Streets Bloc: liberation embodied in public life – Welcoming political & social subjects from reproductive autonomy, LGBTQIA+ rights and protections, justice for sex workers & assault survivors, history of the adult media industry, and any topics championing the free body.

Sheets Bloc: liberation embodied in private life – A celebration of the uncensored, including NSFW animation, DIY/creator-centered indie porno, vintage erotica and blue movies, mature romance, kinky comedies and everything from the experimentally suggestive to explicitly sultry.**

DO NOT DISTURB will take place at Tattooed Mom, in the heart of Philadelphia’s South Street—a district defined by counterculture, activism and sex-positive expression, where free minds, voices and bodies converge without constraint.

We really look forward to seeing your submissions:

So far we've thought of things like

-Free pass to all programming blocs
-Social media branding spotlights (listed with of all sponsors, and a dedicated exclusive thank-you post for a higher tier)
-Branding featured on our festival's website
-Featuring branding in the festival program (by name for a lower tier, prominently placed with logo for a higher one)
-Logos printed on the "Red Carpet" seamless step-and-repeat backdrop
-Business logo and branding included in pre-screening sponsor reel
-Opportunity to officially sponsor one of our programming blocs or festival awards

I'd love to hear of thoughts from any other festival organizers on here, for anything that it seems I've neglected
