Like, I seriously dont get it! Why does it matter, genuinely. You know what was meant when i say what I say. Many a dutch person can read written afrikaans which is effectively a corrupted version of Dutch with simplified grammar. Why do people care so much about this? This is the internet. There's no need to use standard, proper english. Im not writing an email, im not writing an essay, im writing a post or comment on an anonymous website. An informal, environment. I dont have time to double check stuff to make sure its perfect. Its not worth the effort, its the internet. There, they're, and their. I know how to use them properly, but if I make a typo or am just in a rush why does it matter? Take the context into hand. And then Slang is used all the time with NO ISSUE!?! Thats not grammatically correct standard English eithee, but its okay? Vulgar latin was a thing, linguistic simplification. Spoken Arabic dialects are significantly different than that or standard Arabic. Standard English is a lot different than what most people write, why is it automatically assumed to be illiteracy, and if so why does it matter if the communication is sufficient? at what point do illiteracy and grammar simplification to fit the circumstances? Code switching. Why does it matter, to so many people if something is grammatically correct? It just seems so STUPID. Its like a low hanging fruit for pedants. Like I'm sorry you don't understand code switching or is it just a way for miserable people to try and "one up" others? Its so ridiculous!

When I was at work today I was listening to music, and was struggling to find the radio button but I noticed a new change song speed button, which I've never seen before. I thought that I would have to try that out tonight when I get home. Now checking my Spotify, with the same song, the button is no longer there?!? Am I crazy or are they trying out a new feature? But why did it disappear?
