This is just my opinion and I'm wondering if anyone else feels similarly.

The more global girl groups HYBE tries to create using old DA members the more

1. forced the diversity aspect will feel (Ex. Ezrela telling Lara she knows only one of them can debut because they're both Indian). Like HYBE is picking and choosing certain ethnicities to make a "well rounded" & "diverse" group, and that just feels icky to me

2. cheapens the Katseye brand (people are already speculating Katseye is an experiment and Prelude is what HYBE is actually going to pour time and money into)

Prelude/Saint Satine is already getting lot of criticism calling them "katseye leftovers". They definitely do feel like Katseye leftovers because they're under the same label as Katseye and came from the same TV show as the Katseye members.

HYBE had a smash hit success with Katseye, I think they should just leave it at that and stop trying to generate duplicates because it feels so capitalist and forced. I love Marquise for example but I don't want her to debut in another HYBE global girl group, I'd rather she has a successful solo career - same for Ezrela or any other DA girl.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Bored and I miss OT6 content so I was watching their first ever concept photoshoot BTS (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwOQfepuY\_s) and at 1:18 they show a side by side. Daniela's doll looks genuinely nothing like her and Megan's is even more egregious. Honestly Daniela looks like Emily and Megan's doesn't even resemble anyone

1. Tyla - the whole internet thinks they're the same person anyway
2. Latto - Big mama, no kids --> she's drama free
3. Danielle from Newjeans - just because she got kicked out of one HYBE group doesn't mean she can't redebut in another!
4. Samara - Has the DA experience and already knows the Katseye girls
5. North West - has musical experience and connects in the industry
6. Marlon - Matches Manon's facecard
7. Larray - Idk why I just feel like he'd be a good replacement for her
8. Missy - A good manager would step up and fill the spot that needs to be filled

Genuinely who else up and missing gnarly era. Everything was perfect. It was right after their GAP ad. The whole internet was buzzing about the song. Daniela was getting so much love for her iconic tongue move... Manon's hair... our first sighting of Blondchae... the first time seeing Megan's pink hair... It was perfect

I don't believe for a second the narrative that Lara and Megan wanted Manon out of the group and got Missy to kick her out, or that Daniela and her dad caused it. I think the fact they have so many mutual friends in common means something, specifically Larray. He's clearly friends with Manon and just did an interview with Katseye where they talked about how they're friends.

If the other members of Katseye were racist to Manon, would Larray, a black man, be friends with them too?

At the same time though all these LA influencers are clout chasers and will do anythinggg for a bag so I could just be coping.
