Are there any ACOA/ACA groups in Albany/Schenectady/surrounding areas? I see a few Al-Anon groups in the area but I’d really like the focus to be on the child/parent relationship when alcoholism is involved. TIA!!!
Any ACOA groups in/around Schenectady? All I can find is Al-Anon which seems mostly like spouses go, which is very different than being a child raised by the person with the addiction and really want to focus on that aspect of it
So I currently have a KTM Duke 390 and while i love love love my bike, I cant go more than 2-3 hours before I’m uncomfortable from the seat. I got a new seat with an additional 1.5 inches of padding, I still can’t take more than 3 hours on it without becoming miserable. My partner and family plan on a 6 hour ride to Maine in 2 months and my partner is trying to help me find a bike that I can do this trip on without the discomfort! Any suggestions? Preferably something that weighs about the same (165kg/363lbs)
I finally went and took my MSF BRC2 course and got my endorsement this morning at DMV! After 2 years of having a permit I’m finally legal😂 I’m feeling proud, but also willing to answer any questions on the exercises and skill eval at the end of the course to get the license waiver. I searched and searched online before the class so I could set up cones in my parking lot to practice, and I ended up setting up my own mini course off what I thought they would teach because how difficult it was to find any real sources online. I’m willing to walk through the exercises with anyone thats looking to practice 🙂 video of one of the skill evals i had to do!
