The STD light on my car came on this morning. I called my mechanic and he said that he cannot treat an STD. So I called my PCP, and she straight up laughed at me. Never going back there!

Of course, when I confronted my car about it, she denied being unfaithful, but how else could this happen? I know I’m clean! But I can’t stand to leave her, so I want to get her some help. Which certifications should I look for to know if a mechanic can treat an STD?

I was camping at Goose Meadows, just south of Truckee California and I noticed a number of trees that had a single base, but split after a certain point. One of the trees split multiple times. What causes this?

I am visiting my parents in the Sacramento area, and their yard is full of these little red plants that blow across the yard like tumbleweeds. They have no idea what they are. There doesn’t seem to be any neighbors with a plant that has this feature. TIA!
