Favorite lamp size/shape?
Personally, I think the classic lava lamp shape in 16.3 and 27 are the best. 16.3 is my favorite of the 2 tho

I have the perfect surf ratio but I accidentally clouded the lamp a bit with my syringe. Will a filter ruin it, I spent 4 hours getting the perfect ratio
I want to tinker with surf but if it turns out bad, can I just refill it with distilled water and be fine?
I would give ANYTHING I have in a heartbeat if it meant I could have this one thing. I can lie to myself and play dress up and inject hormones and grow out my hair, but I will NEVER be a GIRL. I will never be soft and delicate and cute and pretty. I will always be an imitation. My ribcage will always be large and round. my chin will always stick out just a little too far. My voice... I will never be able to effortlessly feel authentic. It's such a hard fight for an, AT BEST, mediocre existence, if not downright awful. Every day is a fight with myself and like 80% of the general public. Why? Why can't I live a normal life where I don't feel like I'm lying to myself every day. Why can't I just talk to my fucking family and feel normal in their eyes. Why can't I interact with "other" girls without the constant understanding that I am a virtue signal, that it makes them feel good about themselves to talk to me because I'm I'm their "good deed" of the day. It's such a pitiful existence, getting the MOST out of it is leading an average life relative to your peers, and not getting pushed down a flight of stairs or fucking STABBED or whatever else. The general public's mental wiring is biologically programmed to be perturbed by my existence. AND LIKE 90% OF MY "COMMUNITY" SO FUCKING INSUFFERABLE, I can't even make friends with similar experiences because they're all fucking freaks. It's such an isolating and lonely existence that I have no choice other than to experience.
Adding surf tomorrow
"oh erm heh yeah I actually have this um condition where I have to larp as a girl or I'll kms haha. It's 100% for real, now let me in your space I'm a real girl just like you 😁😁" like what the fuck is that man it's so bs. How often do you sit down and really consider the absurdity of this existence
1: how do I get the cap back on? Is there a clamp I can use, or a replacement that will get on? If I get it on, is it sealed? Just like, what's the whole process
2: can I add magic surf without replacing the fluid? I really like the color I have now
It's last owners didn't give it enough light so it grew super tall and thin. Now it gets plenty of light, but is so heavy it can't stand up without leaning on the window
With the Epstein files being released, it feels like less of a conspiracy to say that the pizza gate theory (edit: isnt) complete BS. They were doing disgusting and unimaginable things behind closed doors. If cannibalism isn't off the table, why is this? The ellen sweatshirt picture and nypd suicide makes this specific theory even more plausible, isn't she diagnosed with cannibal disease? How credible is frazzledrip almost a decade later?
E40ish is where I usually cap out
Thought I'd do some gold stake grind on my Xbox account. Never again I hate you banana
Let me start by saying this wont be polished and the ideas might be crude or underdeveloped. I hope the general message is understood. I love my partner and we have a healthy relationship
My partner is Afab NB with the goal of total androgyny . Theyve been voice training for 4-5 years and generally sound androgynous, leaning male or female depending on the day. They have recently started T as well to help tip their voice in the desired direction.
I am mtf and struggle with my voice. I have a good starting point, but im sure you can all understand the innate and seemingly impossible struggle of attempting to reverse the irreversible damage puberty has done. My partner is a HUGE advocate for voice training, as its worked out well for them overall. They push it on me constantly, always reminding me that I will not pass if i do not train.
at the beginning of my transition, I told them i wanted to try voice training, and that they should spot me when I mess up. This was short lived, because I realized that they dont understand where Im coming from in the slightest, and that their attitude on training is completely unrealistic and kind of privileged, and ended up making voice training REALLY unappealing.
They (self admitted) have won the genetic lottery for their transition goals. body, voice, and face are all essentially passing without effort. And im happy for them, and hold a similar privilege. I myself was already semi passing before E
but I feel that this has affected their attitude surrounding voice training and transition. They are able to take a magic shot that changes their voice in their desired way, and they lecture me about how I just need to put in effort like they did and I will see results; How they know its hard, but I just need to keep trying like they did. but They dont know its hard. they couldnt possibly know how hard it is. Theyve been training an afab voice for 5 years and are on T. They experience changes with little to no effort. It reminds me of how boomers say "just work hard like I did, just show up in person to the interview", as if they didnt buy their house for $10000 60 years ago, have sat on it doing nothing but minor renovations and now own land worth $2000000 . Im not saying they didnt work hard for their voice, I know they did, but the circumstances are COMPLEATLY different, and they cant seem to recognize that the same amount of effort WILL NOT result in the same satisfaction or results.
Being told and reminded CONSTANTLY that I just need to put in effort annoys me. Today I brought up that i might look into vocal surgery, and they said that I need to train first to make sure I really need it. (Quick edit, I worded this poorly. I meant as an endgame thing if training doesn't work out. I understand that vfs is risky) We had a whole conversation and all of these same points came up.
theres more context to this, and obviously with the info ive provided it might seem like im in a shitty relationship. im not. this just bothers me a lot. They used to be in this 2020core fake DID "my dad just offered me a 16....im beer" friendgroup, and I feel like the general "femmes and thems" attitude is affecting their perception of this situation
