Questions

Hello guys, hope all of you are doing well. I have questions I’d like to ask because I’m actually kind of overwhelmed with the evidence of LDS Church truth and I’m feeling inspired to become a member.

  1. What’s exactly the understanding of God? I know you believe in the Trinity and all of that, but I mean like is there anything before the premortal life? As far as I know LDS doctrine teaches that the Son is the first-born spiritual son of Heavenly Parents but was Jesus there as God before He was born?
  2. Is the concept of theosis in LDS theology actually becoming Gods or just being united with God?
  3. Do you have fasting or lent season or anything like that? Since in the gospels Jesus does speak about the disciples fasting after He’s resurrected in glory.
  4. Let’s assume I decided to become a member, there’s no Temples or any institution that belongs to the LDS Church(in Syria) and even though I’m leaving Syria temporarily to Poland, I still can’t go to any LDS institution to get formally accepted as a member because I’d be expected to be a community member, that’s in case no family members decided to stop me or kick me out or whatever. So in case I accepted the truth of LDS message, what should I exactly do?
  5. How are passages that talk about Church organization and hierarchy in the NT interpreted? And what translation of the Bible do you read? And is the Bible equal in authority to other scriptures like the Book of Mormon and Pearl of Great Price and other scriptures that were collected under Joseph Smith’s authority?
  6. I always hear stuff about how the LDS Church wants to establish a theocracy, now my question regarding this matter is whether that idea is understood from the scripture or just a historical council or event(like the Council of Fifty) that made people think that? And is the Council of Fifty understood to be authoritative?
  7. Final question is in case you believe evolution is true, how do you harmonize the Biblical account of creation with evolution? I mean, it just seems impossible to me. There were always human populations, never was a time when only one human existed according to the theory of evolution.

I hope I didn’t offend anyone and God bless you guys ❤️

Season 5?

So idk if it’s because i just finished s5, but i kind of think i liked it the most, maybe after s1, or equal with s1, the vibes s5 gives me are somehow really nice, the ambiguous nature of how he ended up in yemen was cool, i finished the season quicker than i thought i would tbh.

Question about paedobaptism

Hey greetings, I have a question, if someone privately held the idea that paedobaptism isn’t valid(or less preferable), but like had no problem with the rest of the Anglican world affirming it, would you call that person Anglican(assuming he believes in the scripture, affirms the same ecclesiology, have the same liturgical practices) and also, what exactly defines the Anglican beliefs? Is it the 39-articles text? And what if someone disagreed with one of the articles?

I just made my first video!

To be honest nothing impressive in stats, way below the average I suppose? I was fun, I enjoyed the experience. Definitely going to keep up with my project and be consistent. The video was an introduction to Christian metaphysics, appearing on the screen. Nothing fancy in editing or visual effects, just me and my camera.
