Greetings! In light of recent vocaloid controversies I wanted to talk about how the fandom has changed over time. I've been a vocaloid fan for over 10 years and the fandom seems so different. I attribute this change to the changes in internet culture, social media algorithms, etc. This is in no way pitting old gen and new gen against each other. In fact, I talk about how important new fans are to keeping the community alive. But I'd love to hear what you all think. When did you join the fandom and how do you think becoming more mainstream has affected the community?

I enjoy making content, but lately I've been feeling like I have to be working on content CONSTANTLY. I feel like I have to post so much to actually grow, and my analytics are proving that feeling right! I've been uploading every day lately and have grown so much because of it. But I hate putting this pressure on myself to constantly be working, especially when I'm not being paid. How do you guys manage that feeling of constantly needing to upload while also taking time to rest? Like, I want to grow, but I don't want to burn out either. Any advice is greatly appreciated :)

How do you guys stay motivated when you aren't growing as much as you'd hoped/expected? I'm pretty disciplined, so I've been uploading regularly and don't plan on stopping. But it does get pretty discouraging at times. For example, I created a community Discord and hosted a giveaway for those who joined. Only one person (besides IRLs) joined the server, even with the giveaway incentive. That one kinda stung a little 😅 i think if i got more comments, I'd be a bit more motivated with the positive feedback, but i don't get much interaction. Any advice would be greatly appreciated <3

I used Teto's Whisper VB and OpenUtau. I've never made a cover before, so it was really exciting to learn and figure things out. If anyone has any tips or advice, I'd be happy to hear it!

I'm creating my Carrd to start taking commissions for the first time. How exactly does everyone handle their transactions? Contact through email and then PayPal, through a site like vgen, etc.? I'm pretty new to all this, so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Even advice for my Carrd is more than welcome if you think there are things I should change.

I make long-form content on YouTube and plan on streaming eventually once I gain a bigger following. Are there any other small VTubers who don't stream, and what is your strategy like? (Also, I'd love to subscribe/follow your channel to support other small creators)

I was planning on vlogging my Miku Expo experience, but was devastated when I learned I wasn't able to capture any sound! I shouldn't have bought such a cheap mic. Lesson learned. But do you think I was still able to make a good video out of the situation? What would you have done differently if you were in my shoes?
