Starting the year right, the best possible begining for kids, staff, and the community.

On day one of in-service exammed your special educators and tell them to get their classroom teachers all the IEPs in 504s. On days two and three of in service have the classroom teachers go through the incoming students' plans.

As greater and greater percentages of the student body have accommodations. More time needs to be given to teachers and special ed staff to review those accommodations.

Nothing can be as important as guaranteeing that students start the school year on day one and with teachers aware of their needs and able to guarantee a good start.

if you need me to come in as a consultant to take the blame for this strategy, I'm more than happy to and you can DM me for rates.

Staying at a old hotel, got fresh sheets with these stains. Bedbugs?

The two stains are on different sides of the bed. Can't tell what the black fleck is. I am a fairly anxious person and often a hypocondiact.

Just reread the book and was kind of disappointed.

Somethings you shouldn't go back to. Ambrose's heavy handed moralizing is very, very apparent as well as his editorializing and it's inconsistent. Everyone with experience shooting or in the woods is described as "part Indian." He goes out of his way to make it clear that Americans would never rape anyone unlike the Russians or Germans than a few pages later we find an American raping an Austrian. Winters can do no wrong ever but rereading the encounter with the SS on the island, feels like a very lucky tactical blunder. "These men had never left the US"... "Nixon who had traveled frequently."

I'm familiar with Ambrose's faults and have been and always enjoy rewatching the show. But this time the book just lost a lot of its magic.

In the modern world the only way to be an authentic climber is to avoid the ego driven crowds. With everyone wanting to be a "cool climber" there is only one alternative.

Dry tooling is the most authentic form of climbing. No one is trying to go pro it.

https://donorbox.org/farley

Most New England climbers have encountered Farley. A place whose access has always been tenuous. Recently as the Mass LCO was working to preserve much of the climbing, the parking and access was lost. There is a generous donor who will match donations to 125k to build permanent parking infrastructure and create and new protected access. This is a big deal for northeast climbers.
