4 days to Mains and the notes are still in the pipeline. Delays, info dumps at the 11th hour, last-minute scramble — it’s all part of the training. Consider it simulation for real government office life. I don’t get why people throw so much vitriol at him. He’s literally preparing you for reality. But jokes aside — don’t get it twisted.

His teaching and notes are gold standard. His handwritten comprehensive notes (bulkier, free) are the most underrated notes in the polity universe. His lectures have helped me crack some of the trickiest questions in state service exams. So yes, I’ll go on a limb and rave about his MCF course. If you want your basics clear once and for all, it’s worth the time and money.

Just bring "thairaav". And coffee. ;)

So I have been talking to this guy for a couple of weeks. Haven't met yet since we live in separate cities. And the meeting doesn't seem to be happening atleast 3 months down the line.

I wanted to know what topics should we be clear about? Finances, family, children etc. As of now we speak mostly about trivial stuff which isn't exactly giving me a clear picture. How do I steer the conversation to important topics? How do I gage his preferences? How should I put forward my opinions?

I really want to know what is the secret code to crack an Arrange Marriage? And those who have successfully cracked it, please let me know.

Another Monday. Another EV bus accident, this time in Dadar. Innocent lives lost. So Mumbai has replaced its old buses with EVs and unfortunately the Department does not give the necessary training to the drivers.

As the mechanics of EVs are different, the drivers aren't trained properly to handle them correctly. During the last Bhandup incident, there was a post on the Mumbai sub where people have categorically mentioned that it wasn't the driver's fault but the department who did not invest in training them.

Unfortunately the poor driver will now be the sacrificial lamb and get blamed for something like 'habitual listening to music while driving' and denied bail.

I really want to know if there is any legal aid available to help these people who are made a scapegoat in such situations?

Any suggestions/advise will be helpful.

Can someone recommend a comprehensive event calendar available online on any website for Import - Export events happening across India?

So I'm toying with this idea of being an Agent to export niche chicken parts to South East Asian countries where there is a huge demand for it.

Since I don't have any capital, being a middle man is my only option to start.

I wanted to understand if this idea is feasible? I have a corporate background with Big4 so my communication skills are fairly decent. I have no qualms in learning their local language as I already speak 4 different Indic languages. Basically, I want to leverage my skills to make this happen.

Downside is i don't belong to a business family so this is a completely new world for me. Also from my preliminary research on Google, it is evident that the manufacturers are also suppliers/exporters. So it might be that they have already established a business and might not want to deal with me.

So I want to learn how to diligently choose suppliers who manufacture premium quality products. I want to build this through trust and credibility since it's food products and it will be unmoral to sell low quality and it will also be unsustainable. Also, i want to understand how to manage the logistics for the same since I would have no assets. So this includes the cold chain management to preserve quality/moisture of the products from the supplier/freight provider.

For starters I'm looking at exporting small shipments targeted to countries near India. I don't mind exploring Myanmar (just an idea) as an option and then go on expanding to other countries. My goal is to establish a few recurring orders in the early stage. Profits can come in later.

Happy to know the community's thoughts around the same. Please correct me if this is too utopian, will be happy if you can suggest course correction as well.
