I’m a bio major and I’m transferring to an Australian university. I know that in rankings RMIT is higher but it’s also better known for tech and I’ve been told by some that La Trobe is better for sciences. Any unbiased insight would be useful :)

Hey there! I’m an international student looking to transfer to melb for my Bachelor in Biology and would like a local opinion on which uni to go to. I know unimelb is the best but and although it’s still an opinion it’s a bit pricy so I was wondering what opinions are on Monash, La Trobe, RMIT. I know global rankings are a thing but I also know it ultimately doesn’t matter too much so I was wondering more about uni life and all of that))
For my visa, I’m basically just visiting friends, staying with my friend’s grandparents, and exploring Melbourne with them. We don’t have any big events or specific bookings planned, so I’m not really sure what I’m supposed to put in the itinerary section. Has anyone done this before, and what kind of itinerary did you submit?
